Thanks for the input but i actually just tried that and it did not work.  I luckily got the attention of someone on the support team because after looking at my case they see some confusion too.   Hopefully it will check out... but what i do know is i am never using exodus again!
Did Electrum refuse to accept the seed mnemonic? If so, I probably should have mentioned you'd need to click "options" on the seed mnemonic entry screen and select BIP39 seed... and then use the default derivation path of m/44'/0'/0' I believe...

Or, you could always try Coinomi... It is apparently compatible with Exodus seed mnemonics as well.

Have you tried restoring your Exodus seed to another wallet like Electrum and checked to see what it says the balance is and whether or not there are transactions missing?

The great thing about blockchain technology is that ALL the transactions are in a public ledger... so it is fairly easy to see if the coins were sent from your address or not. If they were, you can see where they went and prove it. If they weren't then Exodus is broken (again Roll Eyes) and you can prove it.

I have and everything adds up until i get to exodus.

Exodus offers an exchange platform within their app that i used to convert BTC to etherum a few days ago.   After backing up my wallet again that is one of the transactions that is completely missing from the log.   Also, by simply adding and subtracting the numbers that are shown in my wallet, the number of BTC shown is not equal to the math.... i double checked this too.   So not only am i sure i lost .05 BTC, but now my wallet is showing i have less BTC than its logs say i have received.  The whole platform is clearly faulty and the customer service is horrible

Let me know if you have any advice

Ive been tracing the money for hours and the only confusion i run into is the minute the funds got sent to Exodus.   Everything matched to my .02 except for the logs that the wallet is showing, and even those logs are clearly not correct cause my balance is not the same as the math it is portraying

I know this all sounds super confusing and im sorry for the ranting but im kinda freaking out here because this is not a hack or anything... clearly something messed up in their closed platform

No I have nothing which makes this all much more frustrating.

When i tried sending the payment to my bittrex address the exodus wallet would not let me so customer support told me to delete then reinstall the application.   When i backed up the wallet the amount that i tried sending was gone yet there was no transaction history of it whatsoever anywhere on my wallet.

I understand that sometimes the system has to synchronize but that wouldnt have changed my balance because i had .02 and now i have .01.  I feel like a crazy person trying to explain this to exodus customer support

Can you provide the address where your Bitcoin is missing from?

Do you have Transaction IDs or some way to identify the transactions you attempted? Makes it hard to deem it anything other than a software bug if you don't provide those specifics.

Hey
so ive been using exodus wallet for a week or two now and i have loved it until this morning when i saw BTC missing from my wallet.   For the past few days, my wallet kept showing a broadcasting message when i tried sending payments to Bitrex (about .05- $250 BTC); saying i needed to contact customer support.

After speaking with customer support, they told me to uninstall the wallet and reinstall it and back it up with the phrases they give you.   After backing up my wallet successfully, there is about .05 BTC missing which was the amount i tried sending to Bittrex.

I have been in contact with the same fellow who told me to uninstall the wallet but he keeps telling me there is no way it could disappear

One minute i had .2016084 BTC ($~910), now i have .14763511 BTC (~$640).   I keep all my investments logged (VERY CAREFULLY) on Blockfolio and have not moved anything in days so it cannot be because of synchronization errors.

I did some research myself and saw that other users also had the same problem; and coincidently their broadcast error occurred when they attempted to deposit to bittrex.   I quoted their thread here too so you guys can check it out and see if it confuses you like it did for me.

Please let me know if you guys have any advice on how to approach this because they think im making this up when i know im not!!!

Hi,

On 1 july I made 2 deposits ( 2 x 0.07 BTC )
from my Excodus Wallet 1.27.3 to Bittrex

I got a message something like "Broadcast error"
I tried it again and the same message showed up.

The BTC did not arrived and is not visable in the transactionhistory, but the amount of 0.14 is missing from my Exodus wallet.
I tried to scan the blockchain, but nothing happened. On the arrival-adres not visable  in "pending deposit"

How can I solve this
