Hi just a few days ago i upgrade the "watch only" version on my online pc at 2.0 electrum everything seems be fine until today, i create a offline transaction but when i try to sign out from my offline pc with 1.9.8 version of electrum i get this message "Electrum was unable to parse your transaction" what should i do?  Huh Huh Huh
You have to use 2.x version for offline wallet 1.9.8 and 2.x.x are incompatible

You need to create a "Watch-only" wallet first.

Then the Send button will be replaced.

Trying to send my money to a USB stick wallet that I only use when the internet is off.

So I'm told by this website: http://www.devtome.com/doku.php?id=secure_your_bitcoin_without_breaking_your_balls-a_simple_guide_to_cold_storage

That you simply go to the send tab and click:  'Create unsigned transaction'.

But that button is not there in my version of the app.

Mac version... yep.

Do I have to have a PC or what? Where is that button?

=D

Its only there if you have a watch only wallet.

On your cold wallet click:

Wallet -> Master public key (MPK) and copy the string / scan the QR code

On your hot wallet click:

File -> New/Restore -> cold_test.wallet (or whatever you want to call your file) -> save -> "create watching-only version of an existing wallet" -> Next -> paste the MPK -> Next -> Auto connect/Select server manually -> Next -> done.

Now your send has the needed button.

Idk about that link, but apparently you can create a bitcoin paper wallet with bitcoinaddress.org offline, saving the webpage and opening it offline, you can do the whole process and apparently it works.. i still dont understand how offline cold storage fully works tho.
