I'd be interested to see more info come across this thread as well.  From my basic research, it looks like Storj was good at one time, but not anymore.  It really seems like the only one out there is Burst.  I just bought 5x 6TB HDD's, so ideally, would like to put a couple drives on a couple different coins.  Test things out a bit, see what PoC coin works best right now.  But as of now, it's looking like Burst or nothing.  Need to dig around online some more, but would love to hear from someone out there if they know of anything else worth trying.  Thanks!

ok, I have to take a closer look into that. The first impression was that there could be uncontrolled file transfers from "users" of the service which could contain illegal files. I have to read more about that but thanks for the information about this coin

Sadly I do not but thank you for introducing me to the concept of POC coin. I never knew there was such a type and now I have learned there is a proof of capacity coin. Thanks for the knowledge! Now that I think of it Filecoin

will be coming out soon and I think they were trying to tackle storage problems as well. They might function as a POC but I am not sure as I didnt invest or read upon it fully I only know the jist. Gl coin hunting

Hello all,

as I am interested in alternatives to POW or POS I would like to start a conversation about POC Coins and receive more information.
I already have tried Storj Share which I stopped right away and I'm now into Burst but the process of plotting hard drives seems to be very time intensiv and still ongoing for 16TB.

I know that the earnings are low for this but since my computer is mining 24/7 with 6x GTX 1070 I thought about some extra income with POC coins.
Does anyone know if there are new POC coins upcoming or if this kind of mining will be interesting in the future?
