Glad i could help.
I've done business with the company few years ago, and they were 100% legit in every way.
Maybe a good time to rekindle that connection and see how they're doing

Well, Agate comes to mind -》 https://agatepay.io/

I believe they are based in Australia however, and last i spoke to the owner, they were already available in many shops and businesses

Interesting. It seems that this point-of-sale system is expanding its operations as we know it. A great way to accept crypto anywhere worldwide in a physical manner. I believe this is a better solution than crypto ATMs, as people will be able to pay with crypto directly to the merchant or business. Cashing out for Fiat at a crypto ATM in order to pay for a product or service, is not a good idea in my own opinion. It greatly harms the adoption of crypto in the mainstream world.

Some time ago, there was an app called "PalmPay" that was built on top of the BitShares blockchain. It accepted any type of smart asset, as well as, traditional cryptocurrencies that served pretty well as a crypto-compatible Point-of-Sale system. This allowed any business operator to accept crypto on a tablet device (or smartphone). I'm not sure if its still alive and actively developed, but it was a great way for anyone to get started accepting cryptocurrencies in a physical manner.

There's company called "Square" which allows merchants and businesses to accept Bitcoin payments in a physical manner. The card reader device is really innovative as it allows you to accept tradtional credit/debit cards with your smartphone or tablet. As the crypto/Blockchain industry grows, it's expected that more Point-of-sale solutions would emerge in order to make merchants' life easier than ever. A great way to spread adoption of crypto and Blockchain tech worldwide. Smiley

If you know about Pundix and their token npxs then you will know that it is a project that came in the market with the aim to provide fiat and crypto compatible point of sale devices called X-POS and their devices and business is working in many countries already and they aim to grow worldwide as soon as possible.

I was not aware about this project. Thanks for letting me know. I hope that they could expand themselves to other countries soon, as it's still not available where I live. A very interesting concept for mainstream businesses and merchants to accept crypto in a physical manner. This could be a great alternative to traditional credit/debit card systems in the mainstream world. Accepting crypto directly may not seem profitable for a business, but they could accept stablecoins in a Point-of-Sale system for peace of mind. After all, stablecoins are worth $1 USD most of the times. This would be truly revolutionary as we know it, greatly replacing the need to pay with physical cash or plastic cards at a retail store. Do you happen to know of any Point-of-Sale system that is widely-compatible with cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin or Ethereum? I want to know about this, since I'm planning to establish a small shop where I live that would allow people to pay with their crypto in a physical manner. While a Bitcoin ATM will allow people to quickly cash out for Fiat for in-store purchases, it greatly defeats the purpose of crypto. That's why I'm looking for some sort of device or machine that would allow the customer to pay with his/her crypto of choice directly without ever having to convert it to Fiat.

Does something like this exists yet? If so, could you recommend me of a good Point-of-Sale system that won't break the bank? Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Smiley
