anyone here from the UK? Massive pain doing anything BTC related I've found since intersango flopped.

If you don't mind the £33/transaction banksta fees, direct wire to Gox is surprisingly painless.

did this, twice, and it hurt me a lot.

My only gripe is trying to get account information retrieved, I just wanted an easy way to get a password reset!

Me, I do all my trading via https://bitbargain.co.uk/ and have had zero issues. Can pay either via Barleys Pingit or bank transfer. I've opted for bank transfer each time I've purchased and normally my payment is confirmed, and BTC sent to me, in a little over half hour.

Haha, I miss the spiderman meme. But I suggest you look around the other threads in this newbie section, there is some good content, and you can contribute knowledge anywhere.

Ok so I am very big into bitcoin and have been for a long time. Never been a member of a forum though, have spent years trawling them but never actually joined one before.

So now I have to do 5 of these to no longer be considered a n00b.

Great fun.
