Hey how is it going,

I have a few suggestions which could improve this a lot:

  • The sounds are weird sometimes, for example if someone folds I hear the klack-klack sound which should be used for check?
There is another sound that is wrong after someone has made his action, it sounds like the sound for new hand on stars.
  • After every hand there is a 2-3 second delay, that slows down the game a lot. Would be good to get rid of that pause.
  • It would be nice to have the option to keep balances in btc, some people like me don't want to have usd ( or just use btc ingame )

To make this a big success you could also think about implementing handhistories which copy the pokerstars handhistory format, so HUDs ( like holdemmanager ) could work
on this site without problem ( and this could attract a lot of serious players ) Smiley There is also such software as opensource ( fpdb.sf.net ) maybe built this in the software.

Your software has a lot of potential imho, its million times better than this stupid flash crap ...  Cool

Well that was quick...

Congrats to INYAFACE for winning the bad beat jackpot.  It wasn't much but 20 bucks still isn't bad.

same as here wirmola

are you only accepting applicants from U.S for the position you want to fill?
PM me more info, I might be interested and might have right kind of background for this business.

alright sent the $5.  No not just US, in fact one of our founders is from Russia so that certainly isn't a requirement.  You do need to be at least 18 though to apply.

5$ received. Thank you very much.
Will give it a try tomorrow, need to sleep for a while first..

Build a Linux compatible client.

Allow for the option of keeping your bankroll in Bitcoin or Dollars.

I, for one, want my bankroll kept in Bitcoin. Dollars are garbage and getting counterfeited daily.

Thanks a lot for the suggestions.  I really want to do a js version but thats quite a while away.  Do you know if the client will work in Wine?

As for your suggestion on the bitcoins/dollars thing I hear yah.  We have been going back and forth on this issue for the past several days.  Our target market are the mainstream poker players.  One of the main issues they raised regarding playing directly with bitcoins is the volatility of them.  They didn't like the fact that they could go to sleep with $100 in their account and wake up to the equivalent of $80.  I know that doesn't apply now with the soaring price of bitcoin but as we all know, the price doesn't go up forever.

However, I do really like the idea of having a choice to transfer your value back and forth between the two within our account system.  I'm going to go ahead and model the system to add to our list of enhancements.  thanks.

you should put a password form, I would like to be able to login but for some reason it wouldn't accept the password I just registered with (must have mistyped)

Got the password change working - working on the password recovery on all browsers at the moment.

Registration should be fine on all browsers as well.  We are working on a bonus redemption system right now similar to what mainstream sites use.  We will match 100% of your deposit up to $600 and will release the bonus as you play.  Please let me know if you guys find anything else strange happening.

We will also have a freeroll on Wednesday night for $50.  I'll be releasing a tournament schedule shortly where we will have nightly promotions.

btcontilt...where have you been?

I see you've got a new designer.  Slick.

Too bad your Windows only and without a web client.

I miss the old btcontilt...

Horrible past few months.  Issues with host galore.  Who would have thought that the first host I got while running poker mavens was a 1&1 VPS and the most stable?

Bluff Magazine article and 2 months of full page advertisements ($8k in costs) to not even be up.  Wanted to shoot myself.

If anyone knows a player named epicfish please have him contact me at [email protected]

Thanks

Link? Would be useful, unless you want people to find your site using google.

I found it, but you have a error on the signup form.

    The AgreeWithTerms field is required.
You must agree with terms and conditions

I checked the box, but it errors.
Only works on Chrome. Using Firefox you can't signup. It's not wise to leave 30% of internet users out Wink

thanks I did not know this, huge problem will get that fixed right away.

site is www.btcontilt.com

Registration on tournaments work but crashes when entering the table. Started using it on a XP virtual machine.

Hello All,

Just wanted to let you know we have $.50 Free Rolls running every hour.  We are trying an approach where we automatically convert your bitoin deposits to dollars based on the current price of bitcoins on MTGOX.  When withdrawing, we convert back to bitcoins based again on the current price at MTGOX.  We heard this as a major complaint of mainstream poker players that the volatility of bitcoins is off putting.  I'm still on the fence with the whole thing.  Any feedback would be appreciated.

We are also looking for some help in the form of a customer facing role.  Initially we can offer a percentage of rake and then a salary + rake incentive once the site gets going.  If you can be half as good as Freemoney over at Seals, we would love to have you.  Thanks!
