so I thought I would open a new one where I share some of my strategy stuff
Put that strategy of yours in the table OP so that let's see if that clicks to most poker players here. Strategies that majority knew here isn't really a secret anymore because we play poker depending on how you like and how experienced you are with it. The bankroll management that has been mentioned by squatz plays a big part for every poker player, when you don't know how to handle yours, you are bound to lose it.
That's right since he do said that he would make a new thread to share up some poker strategies but he didn't intend

to put up initially on what he do try to share up and also I've laugh on above comment about squatz reply to be a bot. Grin
@OP we are still waiting for that strategy that you want to share to us here.
If it's ready just update the thread. Haha, I just ignored that bottish reply because it was handle properly by him.   Cheesy

First of all, just remember all of the possible winnings and probabilities of each. Second, try to learn to bluff, it's a case where you can easily escape a dangerous scenario. Also, if you think you don't have a chance because of having different cards on your hands, wait for the flop before folding. No one knows, maybe a dump card might win you because of straight defeating a pair.

This is something you'd without a doubt be able to google and find millions of results. Plus, you could even watch some people on youtube play as well.

I'll drop some links below from the top search of google.

Goodluck, manage your bankroll well buddy!

This seems to be one of those "bot-like" posts - obviously I know, I even wrote that in my OP, there are poker strategy sites out there. For sites like pokernews I even wrote... This has nothing to do though with the fact that I would love to DISCUSS poker with some fellow (and most importantly real persons) bitcointalk members...

I would argue that your post is most likely pretty botish -- which is why my response is pretty simple, as this is one google search away from finding tips that are written by professionals. I'd much rather have professionials providing me tips, then people that are (statically speaking) much more likely to be losing money on gambling.

Don't really see the need to open a post like this up again, but to each their own I guess.

Back to the point of the thread: My biggest point to tell you is that bankroll management and seeing the big picture is the biggest part of playing poker. Don't get all involved in each game, worry about the big picture and how you're doing as a whole. If you lose a couple (or win a couple) that's fine and dandy and all, but you need to continue making yourself a better player and continue making yourself money. Don't take unnecessary risk, and continue to have fun. Cause this most likely isn't your full time job.

Hey everybody,

I used to play poker a lot and besided that, I also wrote poker strategy stuff for many "famous" poker websites out there. I have just searched through the forums but most of the poker strategy related threads were old so I thought I would open a new one where I share some of my strategy stuff, you can share your ideas/strats and we can discuss. After all, poker is the only game where you can actually win if you are truly good - in the long run, of course! Smiley
