What politicians (in any country) are accepting ₿ donations?

This U.S. congress candidate does: https://aversa.vote/

There are many politicians that are bitcoin holders, but for the benefit of what they do or whom they are, they wouldn't want to come to the public announcing to everyone that they are into bitcoin, if not they may be the first target yo be attacked especially in countries where bitcoin adoption is not freely allowed or supported by its government, so those having bitcoin will rather prefer to be salient about it than making noise on what they have or the side they are.
Bitcoin privacy open up a lot of freedom to people and unless you tell someone that you hold so so amount of bitcoin,  there won't be anyways for them to know and for sure a lot of times, they tend to misunderstand what Bitcoin advocacy is from Bitcoin holder,  a lot of times,  most of the politicians who speak for or against Bitcoin are just the top of the eye burg because many of them hold Bitcoin and use Bitcoin at the convenience and privately so for sure a lot of them alreadyknkw Bitcoin but due to one or two constraint,  they won't be able to publicly proclaim they owner of Bitcoin.

But also we have to talk about those that take Bitcoin as for their salaries,  I am sure we will have a handful of politicians who are taking they take home pay with bitcoin and I am sure that can be happening in countries where Bitcoin is already considered as legal tenders.

But why has it been that even amidst the politicians that want to adopt bitcoin or are already using bitcoin in their closet cannot come out boldly to declare their take on bitcoin and join in the fight for bitcoin adoption over other governments officials, maybe some are really afraid of loosing their reputation or trust because the overall people in government doesn't support bitcoin, but we can see alot of the businessmen putting an investment on bitcoin because they realized the needs of doing so, are we not in an era of people getting scared of declaring what they want because of general public opinions among those in power.

Donating my Bitcoins politicians - that's probably last place where I would like to spend my BTC. Yeah, laws allows to donate money to politicians for their election campaign, but considering level of corruption, they already took more than enough taxpayers money that they would need for donations.
Speaking about my country, I didn't hear any politician accepting Bitcoin donations. I'm not even sure that they're legally allowed to accept donations in crypto.

Politician has no0thing to do with crypto or Bitcoin and they can even accept donation in terms of barter system as well. All they care is money and to stay rich so it doesn't matter to them form where the money comes from and they know that Bitcoin can give them profit if they hodl it and thus it's a win-win situation for them.

We cannot consider this as a positive sign because almost everyone, let it be p*** site or any NGO or any random YouTuber/Content creator they all accept Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is more popular in the US than most countries which is why many politicians in the country accept Bitcoin and Altcoin donations. Politicians in the US have been collecting Bitcoin donations for as early as is 2018 when Missouri Republican Austin Petersen received about 24 Bitcoin to fund his Senatorial ambition. Ted Cruz is accepting Bitcoin to finance his campaign. The politicians in my country don't accept crypto donations because the Central Bank of my country has placed restrictions on banks transacting on cryptos. Bitcoin is not banned in my country but politicians will always avoid crypto donations because it could be used to witch-hunt opposition parties. The government in power will not accept it because of hostile policies and the opposition will not accept it for fear of indictments.

Another reason why many politicians don't want to accept donations is because the government claims that it was used to finance a massive protest that nearly led to a revolution. Just like the organizers of the "Freedom Convoy’” protest in Canada that nearly crippled Ottawa was attacked for accepting crypto donations. The government of my country called a peaceful protest a threat to national security and sent the military to kill protesters. And they claim that these protesters were funded by the opposition who wanted to destabilize the nation, so every politician doesn't want to get involved in cryptocurrencies.

Tell to a politician that you're going to donate them money in the form of bitcoin and you'll see who really cares. Those that actually cares will want to know how it's possible to cash it out.

And those that are into it already will be happy and more encouraged to do public service as that's they're functioned to do.

Well, in El Salvador, surely many of them does.

even if we are not subjected to the public eye, we are still told to not tell everyone that we have bitcoin imagine the position of a politician and how much danger will they be in if they announced that they hold bitcoin their lives are already in danger just being a politician alone

with that said, i tried to research in my country if there were any politicians to have mentioned crypto and the answer is none however the government is well aware of binance and its recent issue which has alerted them to make a move to regulate activities regarding the exchange

There are many politicians who accept bitcoins like you have mentioned that a senator accept I, so there is probability is there that the other of his colleagues might learn from him on bitcoin and how to use it.

Moreover, politicians are part of the society and the effect of what ever is happening in the society or country gets to the polician. They have PCs and they can access the internet, and ads about btc is not hidden. Therefore, my analysis is that, they are just part of the society and get affected or influenced by what is happening in the society. In other words, you will see more who use Bitcoin.
Sometimes some politicians hold their Bitcoin without the public knowing about it,  privacy is one of the core values of Bitcoin and at, and many Bitcoin holders are not known to the public and as such er can't account for the accurate number of politicians holding Bitcoin at any point.

But for the purpose of promotion and adoption,  some of those politicians have made their Bitcoin adoption known and there is nothing wrong with that,  but it is just that many times the actual amount of Bitcoin held may not be made public and only a fraction of the holding will be put to the public.

Their are many  politicians that accept Bitcoin and also invest in it but some politicians disguise as if they have nothing to do with bitcoin they feel it can give the public the amount of Bitcoin they possess. My country is a place where people are so much engage with bitcoin and i know some politicians who are much into Bitcoin. If you think it is only politicians who are into Bitcoin I don't think you are accurate, their more which you can't really tell that are into it.

I guess most of them would love to accept any donations in kind as long as it's going to help their candidacy funding. Not all know what Bitcoin is but if you tell them that you want to donate then that's the interesting part that they'd find someone that can do that for them and take that cash as soon as possible.

I don't know about that link that you've provided but it's not clickable and it doesn't work on me. So if the Congress of the US already does that, I've also heard that a part of their revenue bureau in some states also accepts Bitcoin in payment. This only means that many agencies and even political parties and politicians are starting to be more aware of Bitcoin and acknowledge what it can do for them as money and as a store of value.

But be wary of those politicians that will ask for donations as the scammers will also do the same thing and they'll portray as if they are representatives of politicians.

I live in Bangladesh and this matter is known to everyone crypto is illegal or banned in our country. But many people know to keep to and completely join with the crypto world. Everyone know the money laundering problem of our country the mainly the laundering are big politicians or the person who have much amount of money which is illegal and high powerful person in our country. They laundering money in different way in my opinion Bitcoin or other crypto currency is the best way to laundering money and many politicians of our country in my opinion they use this way to laundering the illegal money. I don't know surely but maybe that's the most safest way to laundering money that's the reason. All though crypto is banned or illegal in our country but maybe politicians are connected with the world to laundering their illegal money that's why there is possibility to accept Bitcoin who laundering illegal money in other country.

Here in my country people are not expected to donate to politicians during their political campaign, here those campaigns are supposed to be self-funded or funded by the party. Obviously, that means the ruling party has an unfair advantage over the other parties trying to get elected.

I personally have got the impression political donations only  encourage corruption among politicians and their biggest donors, because after the candidate gets elected, those big donors will certainly start to ask for "favors" from politicians. It is quite common in the United States from what I read online.

Though, when anyone asks for donations here for whatever reason, they will certainly accept Binance Pay contributions, and other off chain donations to help their cause.

Aside from the senators that accept bitcoin,  we also hard a mayor who wanted his salaries paid in bitcoin some time ago and that discussion was brought here on the forum and that was quite an exciting discussion I will look around to see if I can get a kink tonthay development but then at the moment we have a lot of politicians who are accepting bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies both secretly and openly in some cases such as the El Salvador president he is also one politician that has been on the forefront of bitcoin adoption and its usage within his country.

The role he played also in making Bitcoin a legal tender in El Salvador and being the first country to do so made them set the pace for others to follow and this is significant enough to make Nyib Bukele one of the proponents of Bitcoin adoption among politicians.
