A drop under $250 is possible but it will rebound. It is hard to believe that BTC will go to zero because it is dead useful and has  a multibillion USD infrastructure behind it.

All we need is another Cyprus type of event. Wait until the first Russian bank has a bank holiday....!!!!!!!!1  Shocked

If the pattern of price deflation will be similar to the one of June - October, then I guesstimated a bottom of about 180$ in January - February.
But it's better to wait and see how this unfolds, and make shorter term predictions. If not too many bagholders will panic sell, then the market
might even bounce off 275$ (further down truncated, and then slow and steady up). If many will panic sell, then the shit will hit the fan.

I've been waiting for those $200 coins forever. Alas, it takes a long time to deflate a hodler's ego.

I'm not nervous, but I sure am pissed off.

Bitcoin is the pearl tossed to the swine that is humanity, who would rather suck Uncle Sam's cock and swallow Federal Reserve notes instead because who knows why.

Well put

the poll statistics show that there are still lots of weak hands, that holds the price down. I'm confident though.

please ad option to poll:

"low inflation altcoin emerges to take bitcoins place"

-that's when i'd get nervous.
Bitcoin is just one epic altcoin pump away from becoming obsolete due to mistakes in money-supply-issue-schedule (inflationrate)

Is it ripple already? I think there will be room for more.

Please also ad to poll: "ripple has higher marketcap than btc"

so  that's two options to become nervous from me i would vote on that if you would ad it to the poll

I feel sorry for those using DarkWeb markets if they've got a habit to feed and already have a stash of BTC. I don't mean porn, by the way.

I feel sorry for the creditors. Right now it seems they would be lucky to get half their bitcoins back, and those bitcoins have fallen to less than a third of their ATH value. Perhaps the bankruptcy case will take so long that their bitcoins will go back up above the ATH by the time the creditors get them.

who actually cares about current price? do you think people who'll get btc from mtgox will rush to sell them? why would they? I'm one of them and I don't understand what you are saying. Bitcoin is the better form of money, period. Even if it drops further, I'm still converting my fiat into it, always - because I feel I control my finances, unlike with fiat, when you have absolutely no control over your money whatsoever. Look at russian rouble, where the government carelessly destroyed country's economy and took 60% out of everyone's holdings and it sure as hell is not going back up, ever. This happens in *every country on earth*, albeit a little slower usually.

Ony people holding a large amount would get nervous. I am in it for the technology it offers, so not nervous a all

I'm holding a fair amount but I sure as shit didn't buy and of my coins when that fat guy at mt. gox was inflating the price.

If it drops further, great, I'll buy more coins.

Bitcoin is simply the best form of money ever, I'm not going to spend any of that shit until I absolutely need to.

If you're nervous then you should reassess things and get out of BTC and crypto-currencies! I don't know what else you would have expected when you initially bought in. This is a first in human history, of course it's gonna be crazy!

If you believe in what BTC has to offer then obviously any of these lower prices are great buying opportunities. I plan to liquidate my incoming holiday fiat and scoop up many more coins soon.

You should have specified PERMABULLS ONLY in the title. Cheesy

I voted for the last option. If the market doesn't find THE bottom within 60 days, then for the first time in bitcoin history,
wave C could get an extension, and possibly even drop to double digits (but right now I find this very unlikely). Shocked

I shit in my pants already. What price do you think it could go down to, and when?

I voted for this option : if it falls under $ 275 ,  at the moment it is the most realistic case. Maybe after the 2015 the things will change , or at least I hope.

I would rather the price was going up obviously, but I am pretty sure that these short term price movements downwards are just that.
But then I don't scream when the price rises $20, so I don't cry when it falls $20 either.

how can you be calm if you're constantly losing money?

I started trading this year. Every time I think this THE bottom it drops further. Miners are turning of their rigs, there's really no one buying any more.
I started pretty bullish into this and ended up a bear.

edit: nervous already.
