It says poll but there is not and option to record my vote?

 'cause newbies cant vote

I understand now. I would have voted for option 2 maybe 3

but sorry you have to pay 20x - 100x now they say!

Vicodin says you're lucky to get in at 100x this scam is the best yet.

Can i ask why you even care ?
I am assuming anyone smart around here is simply ignoring these things anyway.
So the risk level is 0.
And the interest level is even less.

I never have nor will i ever be any IPO / ICO coin so really i couldn't care less.
Seems to me many of you refuse to learn your lesson.

Fine.. learn the hard way if you have to Wink

The problem is there seems to be no more POW coins. It is all ICOs now. Even if a great concept was hatched in crypto it would not likely be distributed ICO style.

POW was a much better way to distribute the tokens. However at the start before enough pressure was brought to induce a sort of rough bunch of guidelines for fair release POW.. that too was abused by the devs.

Comparing iota to other big ico's (that were not as well distributed as fair launch pow coins) you start to see just how manipulated that token is. Con-artist from Belarus should have known better after NXT1.

It's good to establish in the minds of many that if we have to endure ico after ico that these need to have a very wide distribution (if people want to buy into them that is) at the initial stages to prevent the hoarding by and few and attempted/successful manipulation of the cost of entry. Everyone should have opportunity to enter at the same cost if they wish to enter at all.

Their constant spamming here after the ico ends compared to before or during makes it more obvious than any other ICO i have seen. The amount of low post sock puppets is also very telling.

If enough people refuse to play their game then they will be eventually forced to release ico's with more transparency, advertise more to give all fair initial choice of entry and also add a POW phase. The hope the ico phase would die back and pow would once more regain control as primary distributional method is gone at this point. Devs see an easy way to grab BTC + huge amounts of the minting. ICO's will never stop now the best you can do if force them to be as fair as possible. If there were a list of accepted guidelines or rules for running an ICO then those not complying would be seen as probable scams and pariah projects.

your the guy advertising a russian scam. who you to talk?
btc is outlawed in russia but you think waves will be legit?
get over it

Read my post before posting. I have explained before the key to ensuring icos are as fair as possible is to advertise them to ensure wide spread distribution which makes it harder for price manipulation after the ico end?

Where am i not clear on this?

Whether the ico is worth investing is not the point. Only the fact that it is known about by the vast majority is important. People should have the same choice and same chance as others on this board. I'm not saying it's reasonable to have to give every person on this planet the choice before launch that is unreasonable in terms of logistics and they are not interested in crypto at this point. However, to give people that are certainly interested in crypto and are part of the same community on here the same chance is not too much to ask since it only requires a few clicks of a mouse and keystrokes. If they can not do this they have no business launching an ICO on here and obviously have other motives for not wanting to advertise.

You are saying that because you believe one project is corrupt it is not worth highlighting other corrupt projects?
You need to think this through before posting further.

One must decide alone if something is worth investing in but it is important they get the choice/chance to make this analysis.

I have explained before to people how I am losing money by actually having this banner in my signature. If you do not understand how that is the case then feel free to ask.

All big ICO's ( famous developers any kind of new tech or useful tech) should be advertised to the max. Ie people should know about them. Whether they invest is then up to them, but they at least had a fair opportunity before a few people hoard it all then sell it to them later for 100x the price.

Better still have 50% or 75% POW phase.

Since vicodin can't resist telling us (over and over and over on the main board) to buy his 130 sats tokens for 10,000sats that he grabbed up on the stealthy ico for iota (the latest scam from the nxt1 crew of progscammers that exited that project and now need more of your btc) let's find out just how much people really would pay for such tokens of unproven/untested usefulness or functionality.

There is no need to discuss the scammy nature of the ico distribution for this one it has been compared to other big properly advertised ICO's and found wanting, they tell us they did not want to waste money (a few crumbs for social media bounties or banner advertising or mention on the main board with any conviction well not 100th of the conviction they are showing now with main board spam every 5 mins now they hoarded all the tokens) to raise 20x the capital to invest in it like the other icos. I mean that makes a lot of sense. We won't give out a few free coins to raise 20x more funds? okay sound reasonable.

There are perhaps 10 - 20 regular pumpers and protectors of this iota scam - I won't include cfb and david since they are obvious.

Vicodin - hyper pumper of iota (probable scam) - starts crazy pump threads every few days.
btcxyzzz- Iota pumper supporter - on vast majority of pump threads boosting and protecting
winterzauber - Iota pumper - enjoyable noob pumper
snail2 - iota stealth pumper - view his post history to confirm - very sneaky - watch his style.
liqio - iota pumper and protector - on every iota post in main forum.
runall - iota pumper and protector - view post history on the main board also check out iota unmoderated thread.
wizzardtim - another pumper  for iota - always on vicodins threads adding his own pump comments.
blackwidow - new puppet account iota pumper/protector - wild spamming and pumping

there are a few others I will add them as they pop up or remember who they are exactly.

Vicodin says that since he invested 5 btc at launch (although he is probably a sock puppet of another insider who owns huge % of all the iota scam tokens) in an ICO you never heard of before it was over and they started spamming the main board you now have to pay him 385 BTC if you want to buy them from him.

This is how ico scams operate. They do not want to raise much development funds because they have to share the tokens out more and therefore they can not hoard supply and manipulate the price they charge you. Should we reward them for this? or should we say NO thanks next time you run an ICO then advertise it like all the other big ICOs you probably did hear about before they were over...LISK, ETHEREUM, NEM, MAID ETC

ICO's on here are non transparent and unregulated. This mean those running them can do exactly what they like behind a closed curtain. The best you have hope for it to make them advertise and distribute the tokens as widely as they can so they can not hoard and ransome off the tokens for extortional rates after the ico is over. They should also have a large 50% minimum POW mining period which is far harder for them to game/control entirely.

Let's start to punish those that are unfair and reward those that are fair.

I asked them to do a 2nd ICO to

a/ give everyone a chance to invest at 130sats or at a cheap rate anyway
b/ raise more funds for their project.

why is there trading of these ico token before they are even released anyway? whenever this happens you see the same thing crazy insane prices being demanded whilst they pump and hype whilst controlling supply. They can not usually do that when it reaches exchange. However in this case whilst so few people hold the vast majority of the coins even when it does reach exchange they can simply sell them back and forth to each other for ages whilst establilshing a psychological ground price for the coin at exaggerated levels. Best to fix the price in your mind now what you would pay for such tokens and not exceed it at any point.

Usually I take a keen interest in scams. But after the same people pulling this with nxt1 they should not be rewarded for doing it a second time and trying to do it on a larger scale.  There needs to be a message send to ico scammers that they need play fair with the entire board or be treated as pariah projects and shunned by the entire community. Let's reward the fair projects not the unfair.

I am not only focusing on IOTA (as you can see from my other posts) we should highlight all scams and start weeding them out. It is time for fair opportunities for all on this board not just a few insiders and devs. You keep scamming people out of their BTC with only the same few gaining over and over and crypto will never become popular.

If you have any comments how we can force ICO devs/operators to operate in a more fair manner than they do now please leave a suggestion. I think if we had a few set-in-stone guidelines for conducting ICO's on here then this type of thing would not happen.
