Yes OP can reset the poll. Change the poll question and counter start again 0.
So may be you voted on that poll again and thought you voted twice on same poll.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178336.0;topicseen

I voted many times of above thread because op changed the question every 3-4 days.

Maybe you're right. But when resetting, can the countrr only reset without changing question? Becaus I haven't seen the question changing when voting twice. Thanks!

I haven't created many threads with polls so far, but if I recall correctly, the OP can reset the poll if he wants - could this have been the case?

I didn't know that. But I haven't seen the votes counter going to zero atleast decreasing the counter when I make another vote. Huh

Were there many other votes cast the second time around (if you voted twice in a short time frame)?

I don't think it was in a short time frame. If I remember correctly, then the counter only increased than it was before. Smiley

So are you telling me : if you want you can vote again and again ? It is very very strange  Huh .

I don't know whether I can. As far as I remember I voted only twice in a poll.

Maybe the problem that has caused you this thing is : the cookie, or **the second thing** are you sure that you have voted in that poll ?

Ofcourse, I voted 2 times on the same poll but then I stopped voting twice as it may be against the BT rule.

I don't think anything of significance is decided by a BT poll.   Wink

Grin Anyway, I ain't doing it again consciously. Even if it isn't against BT rule, the OPs won't like it.

Do you clear your cookies when you change IPs?
I think it is very strange , have you tried to delete the cookie & cache ?

** Oh sorry , @Vod asked the same thing.

Sometimes, I don't remember correctly.

Funny, I'm behind seven proxies and I can only vote once.

 Huh Grin

Are you saying you stay logged into the same bitcointalk account, and if your IP changes you have the option to vote again?

Yes. I only use one account. Smiley

I have found the polls which I voted opens after my IP changes. So why is it like that? OR does it open if the OP adds a new option? Huh Thanks! Smiley
