We're talking about at purchase, right?

For me it's not about the percentage of net worth once Bitcoin has a glimpse of the moon rise, it's how much I'm risking for that opportunity. I'd be willing to risk a specific percentage for the investment, a specific percentage I'm willing to lose. The upside potential? Sky's the limit! I could never feel over weighted on the appreciation, but I say that now...before I know full appreciation has occurred. For now, i'm hodling.

Im about 60% bitcoin right now, and I will keep increasing my bitcoin exposure in my portfolio as I convert more USD into BTC.
The remaining 40% of my portfolio is money in the bank, a small % of random alts I mined worth like 60 bucks at best, that's about it.
I hold no stocks no oil and no gold, im done with that shit.
Holding a small amount of gold is a good idea, it used to be that in the past 5 to 10 percent of your portfolio needed to be in gold just in case the economy went to hell you could have an insurance and retain some sort of value for your investments.

A year back, I used to hold 50 percent of my net worth in bitcoin and the rest in equity and Altcoins. Now I have increased my holding in different Altcoins such as SNGLS, NXT, ICN, Vslice, etc and looking forward to hold my positions for 2 to 3 years and make necessary changes to my portfolio based on the results.

Right now I have about 41% of my net worth in bitcoin and the rest is in silver and fiat, I hope to have at least 60% of my net worth in bitcoin by the end of the year, since there is no other investment opportunity like bitcoin at the moment.

If I end up with 95% net worth in BTC then it'll have risen rather stunningly. I certainly won't be squirming and I doubt I'd divest either. There's really nothing else that interests me very much.

At this point (which the increased price has also greatly contributed to) my ratio is 40% fiat in form of savings, and 60% in Bitcoin. My personal limit for everything in life was to always have 50% savings and the other 50% purely for investment purposes. I think I have done pretty well in that regard. If the price keeps increasing, the current 60% in Bitcoin that I am now sitting on will likely increase further.

If you are young you should be exposed to bitcoin in close to 100%, all of your savings must be in bitcoin because you can afford to take the risk since you live with your parents and there are massive gains to be made.

Of course older people can't expose their net worth into bitcoin for big amounts.

So my advice is, if you are young, buy and hold bitcoin, all of your savings converted to bitcoin too.

As Bitcoin gains in both value and credibility as a viable long-term hedge/investment/currency, what is your current net worth tolerance?
