Thanks hunter.  Corsair doesn't have long enough cables imho.

Mousepotato, I know. I said so in the original post, but didn't share the code.  Tongue

I feel you get the code if you opt in, as a thank you.  As a marketer, I don't like people that aren't on my list getting the benefits of those that opted in.

The X3 is a superior unit compared to the X4, but both are overprice for 1kw units.
The X3 has a 70a 12v rail which equals 850w, the X4 has a 76a 12v rail which equal 912w.
So they're both slightly overrated with the X3 receiving better overall reviews.

I'm not a fan of Corsair.
I've had problems with their HX620 and HX1000, but the HX850 is supposed to be a good performer.
And at $149 AR is a pretty good buy considering what you get...http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139011

Would you use the Ultra X3 1000w @ $179, or the Ultra X4 1050w @ $219,  or the AzzA 1000w @ $95 (email discount)?

Both the AzzA and the X3 have two 6-pin PCIe power cables (cables) plus two 6/8 pin cables, while the X4 has six 6-pin cables and three 8-pin cables.

Should this be my only deciding factor?  I have a low budget for the rig as a whole, so may not run 3 video cards. (and thus not need as many cables.)

Thanks for your time.
