10BTC silver/gilt Casascius coin hands down.

this, does any other physical coin command such a high premium over funded value?

I agree, though I prefer the all silvers but I am in a very small minority on that opinion.  Casascius 10 btc #1

I have to give a special shoutout (if not already mentioned) to the smoothie 3-coin XMR set. Those are some of the most beautiful coins I've ever seen from start to finish with all the details.

10BTC silver/gilt Casascius coin hands down.

I think the goldies that were selling for 14btc depending on how you consider it

The casascius tenth, percentage wise at least, otherwise I would think if one of the monsters sold (100btc+ cas products) they would command a higher bitcoin premium then the 10

Also the btcc 25btc whole block bar I would assume would command higher.  That's a special piece

Wow, so many to chose from but, for the coin category I have to go with the gold Doge.  For the card category it has to be the 2013 Crypto card, ginter x red mini. For original paintings only it's a 3-way tie between Planet NEO, (return from) the 2BITCAR(save the bees) and planet BITCOIN (the scream)

Haven't owned much as I am newbie to the crypto related collectibles but hands Down Kialaras are my favorite but looking as this bunch together keep making me feel like a kid in a candy store ( https://photos.app.goo.gl/3GB9fbcM6WG3QijH7 )..

With the chips wise, Satoris are the best specially considering when they started when not many people thought of those ideas.

In the modern world chips - The moonbits looks pretty awesome still waiting for them to arrive. Also waiting for the new gold bitcoin penny and what they reveal when these are released

Is there a way to buy a coin that's not yet been made?  Like some off the wall alt coin that not many people care about.  In other words, will people custom make coins for you?  I don't know if that exists but could be fun.

throw enough money in the right direction and anything is possible.

I've long thought about putting up the money for a community designed coin.  I think it would be a fun project for everyone involved but likely difficult to manage to everyone's satisfaction.

First, please allow me to offer my sincerest THANK YOU to everyone who mentioned our little Bitcoin Penny brand in your lists of favorite crypto-collectibles! We are truly honored to be part of this great community, and we look forward to many more years...and doodles! Grin

What a difficult decision to choose just one favorite collectible!

Let's see... in no particular order, my top 3 favorite crypto-collectibles might be:

  • The .999 Gold 1M Dogecoin by Crypto Imperator (which I hope to own someday)
  • The original traveling Bitcoin Rat doll (which I still need, if anyone is holding one)
  • The "What is Bitcoin?" 1st Print (2014) Silkscreen Art Poster by Nubbins
  • And as a bonus favorite, I really REALLY like those authentic Manhole Cover Physical Bitcoins by TBPCo! Wink

Can I vote for an imaginary collaboration project, such as a Kialara Bar that holds a 1oz .999 silver coin by Bitcoin Penny?

The PaperSafe brand makes some beautiful products! The Genesis Coin idea was so much fun for everyone! And those new altcoin playing cards from Kryptowerk that feature ROOcoin are on my list too!

There are simply too many fantastic crypto-collectibles to list!

Congratulations to all the many wonderful crypto-collectibles — past, present, and future! Smiley

Chris @ The Bitcoin Penny Co.

Am I seriously the only person around here that has an obsession with the Samsara & Goddess coins? Behind those probably Kialara and Sol Noctis. The artwork on the Samsara and Goddess coins are just so stunning, I could stare at them for hours and continue to find new beauty.

Also, if you're running a poll why didn't you attach an actual poll?

#1 would be the Casascius 10 BTC coin (gilt or not).

Indeed the 10 BTC Casascius is a great piece.  I especially like the all silver.  His 1000 BTC gold round is an attractive addition to any collection as well.  Smiley

While I never owned one, I think gravitate's Russian Roulette coins were a nice innovation and use of the blockchain.  If the idea was done with more honesty and transparency I think it could have been a hit.

Kialara moonbars were an amazing combo of concept, art and craftmanship.
The pinnacle of cryptocollectibles so far imho.

I'm with you on 75% of what you said.
But still, to this day, I cannot for the life of me work out why Kialara used a Toaster and not a proper rocket. Ergo, not in my list or owned.

#1 Casascius 1BTC Silver+Gilt - The true CLASSIC IMO
#2 Gold Crypto Imperator 2016 Halving Coin - Great design, the best of the commemoratives and great with the Silver version too
#3 Kialara "Original" Gold - Great design, unique product.
#4 Finite by Design Bitcoin (Brass) 2015 - A classic design. Simple but effective

This is a hard question. If I'd own them it would probably be the 3 coin XMR set from Lealana. Haven't seen them in person, though.

Natty's Eleutheria looks also fantastic, but I am missing it from my collection and never seen in person, too.
But I do have the Samsara coin in my possesion and its detail is just mind-blowing.

Having said that, I'd go and say the "Sailing the Seas" coin from CryptoImperator is my favourite. Just love the artwork of the ship and waves. Hologram side also looks great.

There is definitly more to choose from: Some of the Kialaras are in my top5, BP Pennies are fantastic.

Like my favorite, are the drawings that were sold for $100 with the idea of them always being $100 no matter how much bitcoin went up or dropped. There is a particular piece that I have that inspired the idea for my pirate ship coin. Sadly I lost it.

The Bitcoin Mint - Transition of Power? They were a really cool concept. He was supposed to make one every day, not sure how many were actually made. The concept of writing the history on the back is cool

-Cropped-

I think my all time favourite piece would be the Kialara Thug Life, but I don't have one and the chance to get one of these is very low.

From what I actually have in my collection I think the Autograph/Hologram set is one of my personal favourites.

Im so happy you found it. I forgot the name.

To me there's a difference between artwork and a collectible. Some pieces that we've seen over the years have been pure works of art, and some have been only for the ones brave enough to buy it.

My personal favorite of collectibles have been the Genesis coins that wheelz1200 made, awesome coins, great idea on distribution as well as the different collaborations between other members to display a full set properly. 10/10 for me!

Bitcoinpenny comes in at an extremely close 2nd place. Same thing there, collectible, affordable, great packaging and the added touch of a handmade doodle with each purchase brings it home for me, again 10/10.

I am with you on the Bitcoinpenny, beautiful and affordable.  I passed out silver ones to the dolphriends and they loved them.

I think art wise the lealana king ones are the best, any other opinions?
