Topic: [POLL][APEX] Should APEX reduce PoW blocks? (Read 1445 times)

Hi there,

To address the question regarding the premine amount, cutting the PoW blocks to 10,000 will currently cut the total supply to 5 million total from PoW making our premine worth 3%, unless we raise the PoW blocks to accommodate for the lesser blocks. Another option we are weighing is to allocate 2/3 of the premine for a special purpose, such as a promotional giveaway to the community or maybe fund a cause like doge did with the bobsled team, so that the premine allocated for bounties and such will remain in the 1% range. Also please note that this cut will cut the devcoins by 1/3.

As for your second question, the vote was at the top of the thread, but only available for 24 hours, so you must have read it after the 24 hours were up. This may sound like a short time, but seeing as PoW phase is only 15 days and we are already 3 days in, we could not have the vote last for much longer and act on the results in a reasonable amount of time. Future votes may last longer, but this one was time sensitive. If you did not get a chance to submit your vote, we apologize, but you can still voice your opinion here or the main thread.

Two things. Dev please respond to the question about your premine if it will stay the same or will you destroy some of your premine to get back to 1%?

Now Apex is trying to pull it off.

its very simple. you launch a coin with x amount. let the market value it one way. then you come out of left field and cut PoW rewards to Y. Price pumps and early adopters make money. classic scam. Voting doesnt do shit because early adoptors will be the ones voting yes. They have also backed up the truck on coins, knowingg that cutting PoW rewards will make their coins that much more valuable.

It looks like devs playing central banker is the new thing. 24 hour voting is a short time frame. But what does it matter what I say. The scam will go according to plan. You guys make me sick.

Dumb question, but how will the reduction in POW affect your premine? I thought I read you got 1%.. If POW Phase gets cut in half thats more like 2%, or more.

Sorry if you feel that way, but like yourself we cannot predict the future, we can only prepare for it. What we bring is a dynamic team that isn't afraid to do what it takes and adjust to what is necessary for the good of the coin, even if it means change. That is the reason for this poll, to gauge if that change is necessary.

i was going to buy a few apex coins at par yesterday but then their was ppl bragging about renting miners and how much profit they were going to make. so i just put my order in at a little less than breaking even on their rentals and of course it got filled lol. Im so glad they told me the coin was overpriced pretty dumb for them but a helpful tip!(some ppl love to brag) Im starting to get really sick of all these new coins especially ones that have nothing new to offer at all. Like really what does apex offer other than a dev claiming he cares what we vote on? Wow so we vote on what we want to copy and you copy it for us sounds like we are bringing less than nothing to the table . Im glad i bought in  low i think i just talked myself into selling lol!! Ppl are going to get very sick of the shit cycle of new coins very damn soon but not until every single one is unprofitable.
