PollMole’s analytics platform registers every incoming vote in the same way from all over the nation, then tallies the votes, and calculates the percentages for each candidate. The raw, unfiltered vote count is distributed in real time to all members’ devices throughout the system and is presented in the form of easy-to-read bar graph and trend line graph formats that can be updated as often as desired by using the on-screen “Refresh” button. Multiple-voting in each poll is prevented by a redundant system of: a) a voting screen lock-out algorithm, as well as b) using device ID vote recognition locking software. PollMole will conduct 4 Weekly Straw Polls between now and the election. Everyone is encouraged to cast their vote once each week so a trend analysis can be calculated. Each Sunday night at midnight, the app automatically: a) counts all of that week’s votes; b) declares a winner, then c) resets the vote-count to zero and the next Weekly Straw Poll begins anew.
