If you have an old account (at least two years old) and their algorithm has a reasonable idea of your trading and withdrawal patterns, you are OK. And if you withdraw small amounts (under 0.5 btc) you are OK.

But with new accounts, they manually verify things to protect themselves from various scams.
If you are an old user on the site then I would say you wont really experience such thing withdrawals or deposits wont really be a problem.Unlike if you do have a new account ,restrictions might really be a hassle but as long you didnt surpass on your daily limit then i think it would really be just fine.Feedbacks are different on most people because they do have different experiences on the site. Some may say scam some may say its not because they didnt experience problems.

Of course Polo is not scam as the day I started trading I prefer to do it on Polo and have never faced any security problems of my funds and I feel very much comfortable to trade on this site and feel sorry for those who have faced negative experience from it by loosing their funds.

That's depending which coin you have used for withdrawal and the network itself. Ethereum withdrawals take more time as some user reports here. However, Bitcoin withdrawals are in some cases fast.

There have been some accusations of Poloniex being a scam. If someone has had a problem they will complain while someone who has no problem will sing praises. I recently transferred litecoin with no problem with transfer taking less than 30 minutes.

So why would someone say poloniex scam?
They are just hard to respond lately, but if they respond quickly, traders will be happy to trade here, I hope the poloniex team read my post
