Bear season or just the beginning
I noticed mostly the concerns of traders from Poloniex is when they withdrew their Ethereum coins from Poloniex to another wallet or another trading site. This is not a first, so that means there is really something wrong with that.

Poloniex have the following notice on their site:

Due to ongoing network instability, we've disabled Ethereum deposits/withdrawals. We'll enable once we know the network is functioning properly.

Once they resolve the problem, they'll post another notice. This is more Ether's fault than Polo's - it's pretty bad that they claim to be a bitcoin killer but can't handle volume.

The ethereum network faced some major issues lately so it's very likely that the exchange isn't at fault here but likely the currency's infrastructure. Be a little patient and staff of the exchange will likely review your issue if you're persistent. Poloniex doesn't have a reputation of being scammers.

Noone gets the reputation of being a scammer before actually becoming a scammer! Cheesy

Hmmm... They were hacked and they returned the money to the customers in 2014.
I bet Poloniex has less than 5 people working (excluding the moderators of trollbox that have been transfered to other positions).

They make a lot of money on transaction fees on daily basis so rationally it is in their best interest to act well. They have a lot to lose.

Personally I have not had any serious issues with Poloniex (although the site is a bit clumsy).

People still trade on that junk exchange?

Poloniex will be the next mt.gox or the next yobit.

I hope you get your funds. You should move your liquidity over to Bittrex.

What makes you so confident that bittrex is any more trustworthy?

They also don't have any customer support telephone number to ring, and from what I can see only have 4 staff members?

Just because it says they are born and bred in the USA?

You can get criminals from there as well!

What did their customer support say? Historically I haven't had problems with them

They just send the same automatic message to everybody:

I am sorry to inform the ETH network is under heavy stress at the moment and some withdrawals are not being broadcast correctly.

Rest assured we will rebroadcast your withdrawal as soon as possible, thank you for your patience and I am sorry for the inconvenience.

It's about ethereum network not about poloniex. Every exchange faces same problem nowadays. Open a ticket and just wait no problem.

I tried to withdraw my ETH from Poloniex 2 days ago. I was told the transaction completed, but there's no sign of it in my wallet, and etherscan.io block explorer has no details of the TX number showing in my poloniex withdrawal history.

I know there was a big issue with the Status ICO a couple of days ago causing a few network issues, but poloniex are now back to allowing trading of ETH again, but yet still no sign of my ETH.

Anyone else experiencing the same issue? Anything we can actually do about it??
