even if the topic is old, I JUST GOT the EXACT SAME ISSUE

Poloniex took an extra fee for an ETH deposit.... on top of what I paid
to withdraw the ETH.
And worth, the fee that took polo was TWICE as big as the fee
I paid to withdraw

So, until now? ETH deposit to Poloniex? there is a fee.
This thread from 2017.

No, I can't imagine, that poloniex took any deposit fee. I think, that was the fee, you paid for transfer. You should see on etherscan.io, what was token as GAS. l sent recently ETH to poloniex and nothing was deducted from deposit. If poloniex changed its conditions, then it must have happened the last three days.

quoting source
""There are no fees for deposits""

i deposit
0.517 Ether
and obviously paid for the gas or it would have never got there

and receive

0.51572253 Ether  "after they transfer it to a different address?"
if they are doing transfers internally why do i have to pay for it?

i mean ... i put xxx in and paid already for the transfer and they move it again and make us pay?
or are they dealing with an employee that is skimming off the top?
