my concern is this exchange is already hacked, this can be any one of their coins listed
now they're trying to patch here and there in hope of getting it back to normal
remember this is a shit exchange not long ago

Do you mean hacked and funds stolen or ddos to lag the exchange? There is a difference.

If you mean that funds were stolen then that would be close to impossible. Poloniex addresses are known to the public and the community would have noticed large movements of cryptocoins going out of the exchange by now.

I think they are still working fine havent seen any sign yet of being hacked just a ddos attack might be but in terms of getting funds from their account is still not confirm or no issue yet, its still being watch feom time to time if polo would be turning down by this attempted attack.

Poloniex has always been okay up until now, trollbox has gone which is not a good sign, actually bad for business because sometimes you can pick up some good tips, but wat I find unusal it is still at the top of coincap and coincapmarket trading of bitcoin and altcoins so wat is going on are these bots trading or wat?

and still no coins?

Posted a ticket on Poloniex 4 days a go and still haven't received my coins and no reply, is there something wrong with the exchange and how long does it take to receive a reply?
Do they have a ann on this site, maybe I can report it there?
thankx,

There are valid concerns about a possible liquidity problem before august 1st. It's obvious that everyone that knows where the wind blows is going to get their coins out of the exchanges in the risk of a split, this will mean any exchange that doesn't have liquidity will collapse.

My advice is that once you get your coins, take them out of the exchange until September+ and wait for this to resolve.

Is this true? I never heard of anything about exchanges' liquidity running dry before August 1. I am assuming it is because you think UASF will cause serious problems?

The exchanges will split your coins for you and you will have them on both chains. Poloniex did the same when the split happened in Ethereum. It was one of the first exchanges who acted honestly and gave their users control of their coins in the other blockchain.

I have never experienced anything like this, how it can happen to a Poloniex exchanger. I believe this is a small mistake and will soon be overcome.  Wink

How long do you think it will take to reply to my ticket?

It should be less than a week if only for deposit concerned. Sometimes more than. My suggestion is to send them ticket everyday so that it will always be bumped. With heavy demand that Poloniex is experiencing, we have to give a shot that our ticket will be refreshed always so that one of their support can look into it at. There is also a case then even they already read your ticket, they will put it on hold to process those things that is more priority than yours. That's why sending multiple ticket is a must so they are aware that you really an answer.

Well just my guess.

I don't think poloniex has a thread here, it usually take days or weeks for their support to reply. Which coin did you deposit? Has the transaction confirmed?
