This can be the moment when a working wallet hits a bump and needs anything from a restart to a full re-sync.  This does not mean that anyone is running for the hills with the massive $100 investment, it means that a business is doing its normal work and that issues happen.  Lastly, if they are taking off with these cherished Sia, there is nothing that you can do whatsoever, so yelling, screaming and being all paranoid does not return stolen anything.

Wallets break, wallets ned updates and there are many things that can cause an exchange to block coin traffic from time to time.  A price increase in a coin will cause increased network traffic on that coin on the exchange and on all nodes and wallets

Customer service sucks at all these sites, that is not a criminal offense, it is a fact based on small staff sizes running a 24 hour service and the fact that most of them simply don't care.

Sitting back in their living room, doing absolutely nothing but letting the site run, the fees that Polo charges for TX's, the staking balances and other revenue alone is a nice chunk of hourly change, with zero effort other than site maintanence.

Blocked withdrawals would be another story, but a blocked deposit cannot benefit the site at all.  Once deposited, they cannot be forced to let go of the coins.  Next, the other member is stating that Polo blocked their 6000 coin withdrawal.  At this moment, that is about $80, but the price is down, let's say it was $100.

Maybe they are just protecting their site for massive withdrawal happening? But I don't know what is the real score on them really since I've already pulled out my balance at their and currently staying at bittrex but for these many bad accusation against them well surely many people will start to get rattled and thinking upon leaving the poloniex at anytime soon. Hope theirs no bad effects to bitcoins if theirs something bad happen to poloniex.

The second part of the info that the OP provides is that the value of the coin is rising.  Now, how is it possible to make money, scam or not, by blocking someone from depositing coins in your wallet that have an increased value, or any value?

Poloniex customer support is really bad these days. I suggest to avoid that exchange if possible.
Got several tickets with no answer for couple of months ....

Now, the OP is stating that the site is blocking withdrawals and deposits, but the issue that the OP is posting about is a blocked deposit.

Is this happening to all coins or just specific ones?

Facts, running an exchange means running a wallet for every coin, if done right.  That can be a major pain and there is sometimes no way to know that a wallet has an issue until something visible happens.

You guys are so funny to me.  The moment that a website, a coin, a wallet or anything in the crypto world blinks the wrong way, you have them on the beach in Mexico drinking up your deep, deep money, lol.

If you are talking about siacoin, poloniex and bittrex also experienced the same case. wallet of them were doing maintenance and it takes time.
I think your siacoin will not be lost, but after the maintenance is over, you will get your coins

I heard the siacoin wallet was turned off, maybe it was only temporary. Poloniex may not be a scam. And I still believe in poloniex as the best and qualified exchanger.
If the ticket has not been replied please be patient and wait.

omg, please think about what the OP is saying, this is incredible....

yes, poloneix saw you coming a mile away, SIA started a gradual rise with a few bumps, an overall increase and they quickly hit the servers and planned the attack!

they would do the unthinkable, they would STOP you from putting a valued asset into their account!  it sounds crazy, but they saw the opportunity and took it, they stopped you from giving them something of value to scam you.....HuhHuh

the exchanges wallet are fully in their control, if they really wanted to steal from you, they would LET YOU DEPOSIT money in their accounts! You can see they are doing it to the other member with his 6000 SIA, they won't let him have his valued asset...lol.  That makes a great deal of sense, they put their revenue from the site on the line to steal his $90 investment....really?

Guess what, the exchange is probably running a daemon for every coin on there and sometimes they have problems...the traffic boost on SIA that came from the little rise and bump most likely stressed a few nodes and the wallets need a little tending, it happens...but, please...if they ever attack you again and force you to keep your money at gunpoint, let us know!

OK,

We can put the mined siacoin directly on the wallet as eth?

Because the address is different each time on the wallet.

We are seeing more issue from Poloniex for the past few weeks and i thought the issues have being settled and i had some bad experience in the past few weeks where i had to wait for the coins which made a bad impression as i have encountered some loss because of that and now i halted my trade with poloniex after that.

Arf! I have 18000 siacoin, I hope not to get them robbed!

What exchange platform would you advise me to manage my sia?

Can we send our siacoin directly to our wallet? It would be safer but my sia wallet gives me a new address every time I log in.

thank you

Hello ,

I noticed that it's been a few days that poloniex is blocking deposits and withdrawals.

When an altcoin takes on value.

I wanted to put my siacoin on my wallet, but impossible.

Why they block the altcoin?
