I think Polo as implemented the email notification for login when you do it from a different IP (out of your country or out of login ip history)
Another security measure/information i guess

Thats my problem to.

I received an email with login warning from an  UK IP, then i received another warning from IP China, since those emails went to junk i didn't see them in same day.
After a day i receive an email for authorization of btc withdraw. That one wasnt sent to junk email so i noticed it..with that one i panic.
I tried to login into account but 2FA was enabled...probably by hacker.
So i changed the password and frozen the account.
I then opened a ticket in freshdesk, and 15 days later i am still out and waiting.

Dont know how frozen account works, but i can still put log/pass and then i receive the 2FA question (2FA enabled by hacker).
Should i receive i locked account message after inserting login/password...go figure.

Cant access account, dont know what hacker did...he had to sell some ALTs since i didnt have that amount in BTC available for withdraw.

being out for 15 days without knowing if account is secure/frozen and what happened to my balance...is frustrating.

Change your password asap(does it still work)? And you shouldn't be using poloniex anyways, it's very risky to do so.
Already changed it just now. I've received 3 emails today with 3 different IPs used on login and it's really alarming since this account is link in my main poloniex account which I do my tradings. I know poloniex has been shitty since a few weeks ago but I hope they have a say on why this happens.
Is there a way to deactivate an account on poloniex?
Luckily I have withdrawn my money last week from thembefore I start receiving these emails.

I just received an email about successful IP authorization of my account in poloniex login a few hours ago.It wasn't me and I have not received an authorization email to authorize the login.
What's happening to poloniex?  Ayone else encountered this?
Yes, there are people who do experience this kind of authrorized log ins on other IP addresses which is really alarming since you know there are someone could able to access you account.Even myself didn't experience this stuff when I do make use of poloniex but others do. I don't know on how they do access it but the best thing to do change password and setting 2fa would be best on this one that is why I don't store huge amount of coins on exchanges.

Yes, this person and another person who had a russian IP log into his account as well. I have no idea why all of a sudden poloniex accounts are getting hacked at such a massive scale.

Usually only withdrawals have an authorisation email to withdraw. I was never aware of a function to enable you to login with only your email authorisation, 2fa was mobile based afaik(i dont store much coin, so i have never enabled it for ease of access).
