Poloniex is an abortion of an exchange - I pulled out of there a couple of years ago.

Yes its scam because i am verifed member, and they not replied to me after i send selfie, 4 days passed.
That doesn't make it a scam... that is Poloniex having poor support and customer service Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

If they just instablocked your account and confiscated all your coins without a valid reason, that would be a scam.

Most likely, something has happened that has triggered the security block on your account... trading from a different geographical location, account waking up after a period of inactivity and suddenly withdrawing a large amount, multiple logins from various locations, unusual account activity etc.

Them asking for a selfie, is probably them trying to match to your original "verified" documents... to confirm that the person withdrawing coins is the legitimate owner of the account. That sort of thing requires manual review and verification, which requires time.

Granted 4 days is pretty unacceptable, but then, Poloniex is renowned for having terrible wait times for support requests. Undecided

This is unfortunately true, any website that uses verified documents usually takes forever, especially a small scale exchange like Poloniex. The fact that they didn't reply probably means that they are still getting to it or just lost it somewhere. Honestly you should be thankful because this has saved a ton of people a ton of money lol

I am verified member or poloniex. 2 weeks ago i try to sell ltc on their site and buy bitcoins. When i request withdraw they asked me to make selfie. I made it but they do not replied to me. Its scam site now. Do not use them
They're not a scam site, or at least your case doesn't look like a scam. They might be verifying your selfie which often takes time. Have you tried contacting their support? You should get a clear update on your case through the support. You can close this thread for discussion at the moment and come back again when you hear something from the support.

Is there an error message in your profile? Can you still send another selfie?

I'm not sure about the scam part but polo is definitely unprofessional in my eyes and should be avoided. Withdrawal and support problems have been going on for a long time now. And unfortunately, a response from their support could take several weeks so you gotta take that in consideration before giving up.

Aside from waiting, what you can do is follow it up through their twitter like this one: https://twitter.com/Poloniex/status/1117727089157902336

Do you think an exchange is a scam only for not accepting your selfie? I have not used your mentioned exchange but I don't think it is a good idea to call an exchange as a scam only for not accepting your selfie. If you want to call it a scam then you should provide more info.
