26 pcs exist of the SP notes (Bitcoin amsterdam). We were supposed to produce a normal A1-100 run of these, but ran out of time due to a schedule conflict. I had no choice but to release the SP that we normally keep internal. White giant is the only other major exception where we released them due to the rules of Scarce.City.

MIF Maastricht had 100 pcs made. Most of these notes went to high end banknote dealers.

We're working to bring down the price of the clear window notes to under $100.

THX4info on the White Giant notes => got mine like an hour ago and since then I've been staring at the details with black light etc.
Another stunning Polymerbit note!

But by ordering some other Polymerbit notes yesterday that I somehow missed out on in the past I found that:

So may I ask again how many Studio Proofs and normal run notes of these both series have been produced?
Because up to now I tried to catch 2 of each of your notes if possible. But that's not exactly cheap anymore^^ So I'm naturally more curious about the actual numbers...

The normal White Giant notes (with keys) were 100 pcs. In reality, 10 pcs were destroyed so 10 star notes will be issued.

The MIF note was in fact 57 pcs.

Does anybody have actual numbers how many 'White Giant' and 'MIF - Maastricht 2022' notes have been produced and if they are limited?

All I found was 57pcs. of 'S/P - Studio Proof' for the MIF-note and 50pcs. of a keyless version for the White Giant... but no numbers on the normal run.

I think you misunderstood. This reference thread is missing notes.

I should have an extra Zugerland note soon - it was originally for Satslife but he got what he needed prior to my receiving of this note - which is still in transit, so hopefully I do receive it. It was sent to me by polymerbit and is one of the 4 they originally kept in their vault for their own collection. There were only 100 to begin with and I think Satslife work consumed 21 of those making there now only 79 remaining.

Well, that was a fun read!

How some of these photos got out... I'm still scratching my head there.

Anyways better explain:

1) Those are joke Hillary notes. I gifted them as a gag when I started Polymerbit. I think 3 were given away. In the early days, I would sometimes print multiple sheets of the same serial number because I had a primitive way to cut them and would often have to redo the cut.

The paper used was an experimental basic security paper I was testing before I found Teslin as a better alternative.  

2) The test notes on paper should not have been released. But it is possible a test is floating around somewhere.

3) I can neither confirm or deny the existence of that secret project.

EDIT: 4 Total printing for the red 20 mbtc colour test prints was 6 pieces. Your serial is the last.

EDIT 2: Regarding this custom serial number. It is rare that we do out of normal range releases. He was very lucky since we were actually testing serial numbers that day. Thought I'd surprise him.

The yogg's note is in the list but I don't know why its 0.2BTC serial number is 723... He was very lucky to have the same serial on both notes :p

There's a couple of notes I know of that are not in this list.

There is yoggs (1 of 1 AFAIK) custom serial test 0.2 BTC.





Also there are the red 20mbtc colour test notes, total mintage of 3 I think.





There is also one custom made Coin.Community note.



There's also a few test notes that I've seen on their instagram, but I'm not sure if any of these have been released into the wild.

When the idea of NFC was first being discussed, myself and Daniel talked about the various options. He kindly sent me this as an early example of the concept.

You will also sometimes find Star notes as in A000000*. We make these if something has gone horribly wrong when sending the parcel or other errors.

I thought there were less than 50 pcs for the 10 mbtc and the gulden notes.
How many 20 mbtc , 50 mbtc and 100 mbtc coinfest are there ?

Our biggest error occurred with the 1/10 ETH.

We printed "Bitcoin Document" both on all Test notes and HALF of the final run notes.

This caused us to improve our quality checks.

Furthermore, the nonpolymer notes are all a material called Teslin.

20, 50 mbtc, Coinfest and I believe some of the early 0.2 and 10 mbtc were tested on Teslin.

The general rule of thumb is the following: Test prints are limited to 50 pcs and full runs are normally 100 pcs.

" What is it? :

The 5th series 1000 Swiss Franc note was produced between 1956 to 1978 and was one of the most valuable notes on earth. In 2000, its value was nullified by the Swiss National Bank (SNB). A bank in a country renowned for being historically one of the most stable.
 
This banknote is famous for its striking imagery of La Danse macabre(i.e. the dance of death). Originally, its design suggested a universal and inevitable part of life- all things must end.
 
This note has been amended to change the meaning of its image. It attempts to highlight the fragility of centralised fiat based currency and instead suggests the usage of crypto currency to mitigate against such devaluations.

 
Is the note genuine?
 
Yes. Original notes from the 1960’s and 1970’s were sourced in Switzerland and prepared for printing on. The original underlying design was created by Pierre Gauchat and printed by De La Rue in London, England.
