Keep in mind that mining in the future will very likely become less profitable, or not profitable at all.

i am going pooled till i make my HW back which is close then solo it may take 20-40 days to get a block but its 50 BTC!

I would even go as far as to say that if you have a low hashrate, pay per share may be the way to go ..

Since it is getting much harder to find blocks every day, pooled mining is really the only way to go.

How much can I profit from mining using single HD6870 using deepbit.net?
Is solo minining worth trying using this setup?

Hi,

Looking at the deepbit stats you can see that with the current pool rate: 3115 Gh/s they get about 60 blocks a day at the current rate. If you compare your card to others ( https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Mining_hardware_comparison ) you would get about 300Mhash, solo mining (at current difficulty) would statistically speaking take you over 100 days for one block of 50 BTC + transaction fee.
