I am looking for some one to setup a mining pool for me and my friends.  Nothing big only about 10 G/h total.  Please PM if this is something you can help me with and what it might cost.  Maybe even iif it's worth the time to do it?

Hi there,

I can hit you up with a pool setup. You can see an example of my existing pool under: http://solid.mine-for.us/ running BTC/NMC merged mining
You can also have a look at www.mine-for.us which is our solidcoin branch of it. I'd share and set it up for you for 10BTC, however the template that has been used for it isnt free(so you'll either have to buy it yourself or just tell me you bought it). Modifications to my setup will also be possible but I'll charge extra for that.

Included in my offer are updates to the pool setup(ie bugfixes etc).

PS: if you're going to register on solid.mine-for.us please hit me up afterwards, since registration requires a mail verification(can be and is disabled on the solidcoin pool). This is simply a measure to keep the pool private for now.

Pool can be setup to reward using either the Pay Per Share model or Proportional. There's an option to charge fees on the pool(called donation), which allows users to either set a specific percentage they want to donate, or a fixed minimum fee(aka you can set up 5% minimum fees, but users will be able to voluntarily donate 10%). Setup requirements would be a VPS or a dedicated machine with about a gigabyte of RAM(less should work, however bitcoind and namecoind eat up some memory).
We also have an extension that allows for a custom monitoring app(see screen below), and we have the option to push GPU temperatures for remote monitoring(needs some modifications on the mining OS, done in 3 minutes, linux ONLY).

The pool supports long polling and is tested with up to 50 GH/s. I will however need to fix the script that handles payouts.

The pool also supports a security model distinguishing database access from backend(pool software), frontend(webpage) and middle-end(the magic that happens in between).

I should note that our pool is easily to maintain, although there is no admin interface.

For you to be able to verify that I'm not trying to rip you with other peoples work, I created a file for each of the pools containing the link to your topic on btctalk:
http://www.mine-for.us/verify
http://solid.mine-for.us/verify

if you're interested in this, hit me up here via PM, on Freenode IRC or via ICQ: #257125165
