If anyone tried to sell 1/1000 of that alt crap it would hit rock bottom and never recover.
Well ... yeah ... anyway ...

I wish I could quote this 1000 more times. Nobody on this board seems to take this into account when it comes to ETH/altcoins in general. Companies are already backing away from Ethereum and more and more every day the coin is looked at as a solution looking for a problem. Tribalism is the main underpinning of the ETH community it seems, everyone is blinded by the current price of the coin and not looking at the big picture. I mean ethereum is so awesome that with a few exceptions you have to convert it to bitcoin if you ever want to convert it to fiat.

It reminds me how every new MMO around the corner was gonna kill World of Warcraft. Ten years later all of the competition is free to play and WoW is still chugging along.

Hi guys,,

Just looking for some reviews of pools,  What pool do you use and why?

Looking to drop just under 1TH onto a pool, We are looking to find out what everyone things is the best pool out there.
And reason why you think this..

Thanks in advance.

You might consider joining an etherum pool. The coin is doing well at present... not sure what the future holds.

This is the bitcoin mining board, please move altcoin discussions to the altcoin board.

It's an altcoins - so by definition: free, worthless and holds no future.

You  are very smart and I admire your work on cgminer and I fully support your pools, but  marketcap  has not had  an alt worth the ratio below
In more then a few years.

 https://coinmarketcap.com/

1   Bitcoin               $ 6,872,912,506
2   Ethereum       $ 1,174,738,012

I see bitcoin as being more in trouble this time then when LTC  was over 1 billion.  Mainly due the the ½ ing coming right around the corner.
Yeah maybe BTC picks up in august.  But ETH coin price jump looks to be a big reaction to the coming BTC ½ ing

When LTC was doing well btc was nowhere near the next ½ ing.

Remember that company called KNCMiner?
The one that used the bitcoin community to pay for their mining farm after lying to everyone about it and then mined something like 1/4 of all the BTC for ages?
They sold all their BTC as they mined it.
BTC didn't collapse, it's still here, and it's already survived a halving before and the next one will be fine also.

I've had good luck with zpool.ca

I have been doing their auto convert to BTC payments without problem for about 3 months.
