Today being the 26th of November 2024, one of Nigerians old refineries that have been inactive for years have been brought back to life and working. We all know how Nigerians have been clamoring for long for our refineries to be back to action and start refining our own fuel instead of taking it out to refine, which has caused an increased in the price of petroleum products in the country.

Now that the refinery is back to action after more than a decade of inactiveness, what are your expectations from this in relating to the current economy of the country? Are we going to see a positive economic growth or not? Your input on this will be highly appreciated.
The refinery was brought back to life when Dangote refinery was also ready and started producing fuel, do you think that can also be related and serve as a competition between NNPCL and Dangote?
