The coin die, when no one mine it. And if no one mine and no one save chains in wallet. What if anyone back and try to mine, from where he will take chains? The coins have any kernel or just like torrents? Just interesting, not related to the problem that I want to solve.

The problem was: how to do portable wallet?

What problem are you trying to solve?

If no one has the blockchain to a dead coin saved any more, then no one can use the coin and the wallet's coins are worthless anyway.

Ok, I just will keep all my wallet.dat from all coins that will mine no more or will sell it... But I prefer to keep it all and wait to sell when come better times for every one. So, one day I just will install new wallet and I will have just to change wallet.dat with my old and it's will work for every one type of coin? But why to do this and when I need to download all chain again and again... And who will keep the chains for dead coins if every one do this... Why not to keep all my wallets to my data disk and just run it later? Like what I will do with my BTC wallet, for example: I will run "bitcoin-qt.exe -datadir D:\bitcoin" jsut 1 time or every time?

It sounds like you want to start bitcoin with the -datadir option. This makes bitcoin store the blockchain, your wallet, and everything else on a specific location. This could be your big data disk. Just don't forget to back up your wallet...

Yes, my english not enough to explain corectly, but let me try again.

Now I have just 1TB external HDD and just 60GB SSD. I really can't keep all wallets with just 60GB (real uaable 55GB), coz my windows f*ck minimum 20GB, the programs 10GB, my shits 20GB, only BTC need more from 10GB... OK, I clean part of my shits and just I left with few GB for swap and etc. windows needs... No more space for other wallets...

It's first reason to want to put all wallets to my storage (it's buyed for this) and wallets not need fast disk for instant start.

Second reason is to can just take my external HDD and go to other PC and use my wallets without instaling and etc.

It's my simple needs: I need to can use it like a real wallet, just to go with me for more save Wink

If I change datadir to any other hard drive, usb flash, SD card or CD/DVD. After I make new instalation to my system disk. Can I install start bitcoin-qt from my storage and all to work like before?

Sure, it should, given that I understand your question correctly. Please make sure to take a backup first! Always keep backups, in case i misunderstood you (or your computer just takes the opportunity to break down on you).

I don't know what you mean by "portable" (written in C++, Bitcoin-Qt is portable to almost all systems you can think of), but there is absolutely no requirement to have your wallet.dat in any special location at all. Just specify where you keep it with -datadir.

2. All coins from scrypt

3. All shits like XPM, too

4. And if have any other?

5. Just all : ]

Just symlink your wallet.dat file to be on your second hard drive.
What? You can't symlink across multiple physical drives!

Maybe you're thinking hardlinks? On Linux and I think Windows you can symlink across filesystems.

I know. My wallet.dat = my wallet. But it's not enough for me. I need my full wallet client to be portable. No need to be installed. Btw it's not installation for me. You just run it and it make few shits on your rouming, it's all... So, can I redirect to have other workspace?

And again. I not need to do it manualy for every difrent coin... I just need program with support all coins, to can add new and new and all to be in 1 wallet and nothing lose after I change my PC or OS. It's all I need Smiley

All you need is "just" a wallet that supports every altcoin simultaneously?

Or Electrum. Or even Bitcoin-Qt if you import your private keys elsewhere.
Anything can be portable if you really want it to be.

I'm sorry if it's exist in another thread. But I really can't find any portable wallet...

Let me try to explain what I need: Not need any web based and etc. crap that can be force to scam... I need any that NOT NEED TO BE ON THE SYSTEM DISC. I just need to store all my wallets to my second HDD.
