Are there any privacy concerns over using a portfolio app to record your alt holdings?
I personally use a spreadsheet and track it the primitive way.

No there isnt. It is not like you are placing in your private key in the app

But instead you just place your # of coins in the app and when you load the app it calculates current price with how many you own (by the # you inserted)

Yeah but you are still sharing the amount of coins you own.

If you're the developers of Blockfolio, you can get a decent overview of altcoin markets this way or worse..

That's true, but they can also check richlist to get an overview about the distribution and the whales in the waters

i use coincap and its great.

Their charts are not that good. Blockfolio is quite good. But isnt there anyone which watch addresses only ? That would be best than entering the amount manually

I think Blockfolio is the best one. It tracks 800 cryptocurrencies, and you can add the amount you own of any of them to your porfolio. It will show the price change, percentage change, and a graph for each coin separately, or your portfolio as a whole. It even can track when you sell or buy each coin too. Overall I'm really impressed with it.

Thanks I will try this one
