How are you all tracking your Crypto/NFT investments and managing P&L? Huh
Easy solution is to use CoingGecko cand create account there, but there is also alternative apps and I suggest trying one app called crypTrax from bitcointalk member Escaflowne.
crypTrax is open source app that works on all operating systems and you don't have to create any coingecko account:

One more alternative option for desktop portfolio manager is open source app called Rotki:

Do your own research before using and installing anything.

for my needs, Coingecko is more than enough, but not sure how functional it is with NFT because I'm not a big fan of it.
how realistic is it at all to get a real value for NFT in the portfolio tracker?

Why do you think most Web3 users aren't managing or tracking their crypto & NFT positions and P&L meticulously? Is it because they don't care too much about the technicals? Like their investment thesis pretty much based on social hype and macro trends?

Try using this Portfolio Performance Tracker: https://www.portfolio-performance.info/en/

I am not pretty sure whether the application supports NFT tracking but I am certain that tracking your bitcoin or any other altcoin will do its job. The only caveat is that it can only be installed on desktop/laptop, plus the software is FOSS[1]. There is also a guide[2] for you get started.

Noob: Blockfolio, Delta (as far as I know doesn't support NFTs)
Pro: a Google/Microsoft spreadsheet (in which you can deeply customize to your own liking)

P.S. Move this to the Service Discussion section: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=85.0

Move option is on the bottom left part of this page.
