That first website looks promising the second not so much.
I'm disappointed Tongue Did you check https://loyce.club/archive/members/202/2025790.html ?

For example, I would think at quickest a cron job would run every minute which means if a post was made and deleted after a scrape already took place but before the next scrape was due (within 59 seconds), it will not be archived.
It took me 3 seconds to archive your post Wink
My scraper catches most posts. Sometimes, MindlessElectron is quicker deleting them, but that's rare (and those posts aren't worth keeping anyway).

Here are some information about your privacy https://bitcointalk.org/privacy.php

Deleted posts and trust ratings, as well as their edit histories   Kept on the live server for a couple of years; then probably kept indefinitely in backups   Don't publicly post things that you might not want to exist forever

When you post on this site and delete the post is there a copy stored or is it forever gone? Also if it is stored can be accessed my mods or theymos?
Forum admins and moderators have access to deleted posts and topics but there are some more detailed information for you. Those things won't be stored forever with different thresholds for live database, archive database and offline backups.

Deleted posts are at first just hidden from public view. To steal the ID from such a post, the deleted post is given a new ID. The deleted spam post in this case now has ID 57394364.

After about a year, deleted posts are moved off of the live database and into an archive database, and no longer occupy their original message ID in the live database. After about another year, deleted posts are deleted from the archive database as well, though they will probably still exist in offline backups.

You can find your deleted post if it belongs to your last 100 posts and it is not more than 7 days old. After each 7 days, posts in draft page will be deleted automatically.

Noted, thank you for clearing that up, you are right. I should have articulated it better especially the sleep interval part and widened the explanation. The OP has his answer, I hope he can find the deleted post he was looking for.

For example, I would think at quickest a cron job would run every minute which means if a post was made and deleted after a scrape already took place but before the next scrape was due (within 59 seconds), it will not be archived.

You wouldn't start a new cronjob for every scrape, and even if you did - there are ways to start them more often than once a minute (e.g. multiple jobs with different sleep intervals at the beginning). Anyway, the point is that scrapers can catch new posts within seconds.

OP, besides these 3rd party archives that Rikafip mentioned, you can find some of your posts (even deleted ones) inside your drafts page.

Drafts are saved whenever you preview or post a topic, post, or PM. Up to 100 drafts are kept. Drafts are deleted after 7 days.

Rikafip pointed you to the right source. If a post gets deleted or edited you could always find an archived version of it as long as it has been scraped.

For example, I would think at quickest a cron job would run every minute which means if a post was made and deleted after a scrape already took place but before the next scrape was due (within 59 seconds), it will not be archived.

If cron jobs are not being used and some other method is being used for crawling then it would depend on the custom coding but I would highly doubt if in this scenario anything other than cron jobs are being used to scrape.

Yeah everyone can still see your posts even if they got deleted. Two most popular ways to see deleted (yours and everyone else's) posts are via https://ninjastic.space/ and https://loyce.club/archive/posts/

That first website looks promising the second not so much.
Thanks for the info

First one is more convenient (and is the one I use most of the time as it has some very useful features) but you should be able to find what you are looking with either of those.

Thanks for the info

As far as I know the mods move the topic to trashcan. As a result we can not see the post anymore but they can.

Quick question for anyone that can answer.

When you post on this site and delete the post is there a copy stored or is it forever gone? Also if it is stored can be accessed my mods or theymos?

The reason i ask is i'm looking for information from one of my past deleted posts.
Thanks

Edit: I was kind of vague in my question. I mean a post that I deleted not a mod for spam or anything.
