Don't be too sure about this post-mortem. Why not? Because Dem leaders are not stupid. Here's what I mean.

Dem leaders have seen time after time that making new anti-gun laws causes people to buy more and more guns. But they (Dem leaders) don't seem to have learned their lesson. They keep on making these laws... or at least trying, with the same results. They know what is going on (they aren't stupid) yet they keep on doing it. Why?

What if Trump wins? What if there aren't any more things that exist like the gun control laws and attempts did? Won't the people gradually become lax in their observations of government, if they live for a long enough time without any formal government threat? The Dems and their gun-control were a threat. But if the threats all go away, won't the people become lax? Lax people are much easier to take by surprise than people who are ready to fight.

Remember what St. Paul said, 1 Thessalonians 5:3:
While people are saying, "Peace and safety," destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.

Donald J Trump believes that windmills cause ear cancer.

Believes, or says that he believes?
Certainly he says certain things that make him sound like an idiot, but I would argue that most of his pronouncements of this ilk are made not for the purpose of communicating information, but rather for eliciting a reaction. And undeniably he is good at eliciting a reaction.
I don't like the man, but he is dismissed too easily. He is extraordinarily effective at what he does.

That's very perceptive.

And re the thread "Post Mortem for the Democratic Party" I object.

That was some time ago, now we see the 2nd wave. Democrat zombies.

Does anyone deny that Sanders looks like a zombie creature?

arguably mentally challenged people shouldn’t be running the Government.

As of 2019, Donald J Trump believes that windmills cause ear cancer.

"If you have a windmill anywhere near your house, congratulations, your house just went down 75 percent in value. And they say the noise causes cancer. You tell me that one."
 ...

Does not look like the quote from Trump supports your assertion, does it?

Yeah, just like that batty wackaloon that preaches a flat earth (and other nonsense) 2 blocks over on this forum. He's undeniably good at eliciting a reaction too. Except he ain't the potus.

He then started making whirring noises, possibly in mimicry of a wind turbine, or possibly the fan that stops his brain from overheating was just breaking down.

...But they have been Demonized enough, perhaps not publicly, but let’s let our animosity sit in a locked box during this thought, so we can imagine reality for what it is, biases aside...

Why?

The whole Republican Democrat thing is entirely mixed up. Most people don't understand the platform language of either party. Most people in their hearts are not either Republican or Democrat. Besides that, when you look at the history of both parties, they both have switched back and forth on all kinds of issues over the decades.

The unfairness exists when either party convinces a man or woman that the person is actually being represented and benefited by the party line. And the party does this convincing to win votes, so that they can be the dictator over the lives of people.

The whole two-party system is a dictatorship in progress.

(GlobalIntelHub.com – ZERO HEDGE EXCLUSIVE) — 2/14/20 — Somewhere, USA — As we get closer to the 2020 election, and as the hoax attacks on Trump (Impeachment, Russia Hoax) die down, we’re starting to get into the weeds for a big election, perhaps bigger than in 2016 for a number of reasons.  We’re already seeing signs that dems are preparing to stage a ‘false flag’ around the elections that may look like a “Russian Cyberattack” on our election system, preparing themselves for another Trump victory (which can be blamed on Russian hackers, or perhaps it will be Nigerian hackers next year, who knows).  As explained in Splitting Pennies, the world is not as it seems.

There’s quite a lot of ground to cover here so let’s start with a stereotype that non-Dems have been branding on Democrat foreheads which is unfair, even considering their deplorable and irrational behavior.  They have rights just like mentally challenged citizens have rights, although arguably mentally challenged people shouldn’t be running the Government.  But they have been Demonized enough, perhaps not publicly, but let’s let our animosity sit in a locked box during this thought, so we can imagine reality for what it is, biases aside. Since 2016 they have become unprofessional, childlike spoil sports that have used their spite to justify breaking laws, circumventing long standing legal and political decorum, and doing anything and everything possible to destroy, smear, belittle, attack, insult, bully, and overthrow Trump and all of his supporters.  People have been attacked in streets wearing MAGA hats, spit on, threatened, doxed, sued, investigated, imprisoned without just cause, and worse.  The liberal game is despicable because they are using the minority victim card in order to ‘get offended’ by ‘racists’ and ‘white supremacists’ when we all know very well that Trump isn’t a racist, white supremacist, or a woman hater.  In fact Trump is more popular with African Americans than Democrats:
