I can't find this version of post edit in both LoyceV or Ninjastic archiving websites but wayback machine is not lying Smiley
I only scrape unedited posts. So this guy is threatening to kill theymos in the same topic he's asking theymos for a favor.

You mean he edited the post to say that he wanted to kill theymos? LOL. That sounds about like him.

So bizarre.

As far as I know theymos never claimed that Satoshi "invented Bitcointalk," or whatever it was he thinks is worth murder.

I think it was xtraelv that wrote a thread about interesting Bitcointalk facts and one of them was that its not called Bitcointalk, it's called Bitcoin Forum. It even says that in the upper left every time we visit the website. That's what it said when Satoshi was here, and as it was SMF back then it looks just about the same as it does now.

You can check THIS edited and archived post, as well as his post history and you would understand much better.

Maybe not but it would appear the post has been de-archived...

So I'm just curious -- what post contained the actual proof that this guy was humanrights.foundation?

He basically admitted himself that he is humanrights.foundation and he again made threats to kill someone so that is probably the reason why he is banned.

I mean, bitburn writes in his style and I totally believe that the account is his alt, but I reviewed all his posts and didn't see what indicated a direct connection. Tried going to his website and it can't be reached. It's not registered under his name. So... what am I missing?

There was a similar topic not long ago. I don't know if it's the same situation here, but there the answer was:
This was the topic https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/account-nuked-but-posts-made-by-the-account-can-still-be-seen-5318315 created by logfiles and they really has the same issue might be the same as well of a scenario of what mole0815 have said. I think it was a bug, maybe there's worth noting to this users posts, I just remembered that bitburn regarding the issue he got with satoshi not owning bitcointalk or hasn't posted here. Maybe the same from the account presented by logfiles and I wouldn't be surprised if they are somehow connected to one another.

I think there are special cases where controversial users are nuked, but then the mods try to retain the posts made by the user for future reference. This might be one of those cases.

Is that forum bug?

There was a similar topic not long ago. I don't know if it's the same situation here, but there the answer was:

This user was nuked and then he was manually reactivated and the posts restored. This results in the behavior as described by you.
Posts and activity remains in such cases on 0 but this is a bug that is negligible. Such a situation is an exception and therefore not worth more effort.

User bitburn nuked on 3/3/2021 8:25:09 PM (as per BPIP status) and seems post and activity is ZERO. He has created a controversial thread, today is 4/3/2021 and  all his posts exist there. Doesn't matter what post he has created, but isn't delete posts when a user nuked?

Is that forum bug?
