I have purchased few domain with namecheap and paid with bitcoin. I like the exchange price they have for bitcoin, which is exactly the current market rate so we don't have to pay more than paying in fiat. Also never experienced any problem with their domains, namecheap has taken a huge step and been favorite of many after they started accepting bitcoin as payment method.

Namecheap is reliable domain host and is a very good competitor of Godaddy.

Regarding bitcoins as a payment method i will say it ease problems of many people who had to use credit/debit card online in the past.

Error 404: there seems to be nothing here.
I tried namecheap  before a year to buy a dot com domain and paid $9.99 through Bitcoins. The domain came with a free whois guard protection.

About the payment, no problem at all. I'd definitely recommend Namecheap because of their amazing 24*7 chat support and also because you'll have no problems paying with Bitcoins and they are the #1 domain reselling company in my opinion.

The best thing about namecoin is, i gave them totally lulzy information about my identity and it wasn't a problem. I didn't have to use my credit card and made the purchase completely with bitcoins. Only that is enough for me to use namecheap.

I am a user of  godaddy web hosting and have had no problems with them but now that I am reading about namecheap which offer bitcoin payments I am thinking to switch over. Beside that namecheap offer even better and cheaper prices than go daddy and go daddy have not yet implemented bitcoin as a form of payment.

It looks like Namecheap is going to be the leader of web hosting sooner rather than later.

I am sorry to necro an old topic but i didn't want to create another thread because what i am going to say is exactly matches with the title.

Today i bought a domain from namecheap and i thought i had a problem with the payment. I paid with bitcoins and to the address which provided in the payment page where there was a timer for 15mins. I sent the payment but there wasn't an update on the page and the timer ran out. So i got frustated and contacted the support. I was be able reach the live support in 30 seconds and to me it was very fast.

Long story short, i got frustated for nothing.

The payment reached the payment address a bit slow because it was a 10$ transaction. But they answered my every question and keep me updated in every 15mins or so. They have taken care of me and my problem for nearly 2 hours.

I am very glad for their customer service. Good job.

10/10

I have been using bitcoin for payments on namecheap for well over a year. bought 5 domain names and hosting. no issues whatsoever with them. there service is reliable and I am happy with them. You have to use bitcoin to 'fund the account', which is not as simple as just paying for the service with paypal (which is what I used prior to 2013), but still pretty simple.

Well, I feel that paying with Bitcoin is easier than paying with paypal. Just scan the QR Code and type in the amount you want to pay. Well, sometime, you dont even need to type in the amount.

Used their services and paid with bitcoin last year.

Positive experience. Will use Namecheap again and pay with bitcoin (or other crypto if they enable, or via shapeshift browser pluging).

Great to hear that you are liking Namecheap! Smiley

I am a hardcore namecheap user. I have bought 11 domains for btc and two shared hosting accounts. They are just amazing. Atleast someon e in the webhost sector accepts bitcoin.
In addition to this i just got 10 more domains into my namecheap account. that takes the tally to 21.
Thanks for the code. Ill probably just buy another hosting account for my new websites

Well.. you are really a Namecheap fans.. I only have two domain and one shared hosting in my account. I will be buying more domains with them since they accept Bitcoin. As for the code, you are welcome. I find them on some free coupons sites.

So, I cant seem to find any topic for Namecheap here. Namecheap was one of the first domain and hosting company to accept Bitcoin. Namecheap played a big part in Bitcoin popularity. I wont be using Bitcoin two years back if I dont know that Namecheap accept Bitcoin. I will still be posting on a pay-to-post forums so as to buy a domain from a third-party. Anyway, let's get to the topic. How is your experience with Namecheap Bitcoin payment? It is great to see that they respect our privacy by using BitPay (and not Coinbase.. LoL!). I turn in 0.035 Bitcoin for $10 on Namecheap - get now while Bitcoin price is at $270! I bought a $7 hosting from them. The hosting will last for a year. I will be using them for Bitrevenues (http://bitrevenues.com/) -  a brand new Bitcoin faucet list - and Milkacrea.

The orginal cost was $9.88. I used a coupon which only valid for this month (March 2015) to have a 20% discount. Here's a coupon if you are thinking to buy the lowest shared hosting from namecheap, BLUESKY - 20% discount for shared hosting.

Here's some other coupon which I have not tried.. -  I find them on other website.

RAINBOW - 40% discount for VPS
HARMONY - 40% discount for reseller hosting
