With the fact that Bitcoin is still in its infancy, could it be possible that in the near future other new forms of currency might evolve?
Everything is possible, but many alternate cryptocurrency tried this and no big luck. What matters is the userbase and usefullness of a coin, and Bitcoin wins here

With the fact that Bitcoin is still in its infancy, could it be possible that in the near future other new forms of currency might evolve? I only ask because I am a late band wagon jumper and really think that this technology shows merit, and ingenuity. That was my flagrant attempt to get quoted. Although I am sure that I will fail. I have hopes that soon well tomorrow I will be able to post my images for the modifications I have made to my Erupts. I have been working on cooling and feel that it is something that others need help with.
