I did refresh and even restarted firefox. Didn't fix it. Whatever it was it's working again now. First time I have ever had this issue and I edit old posts every day to get formatting for new ones.
Yes I have logged out and in no help. Had other people try too same error.
Have you tried refreshing the page before trying to edit the post? It sometimes happen to me and I just refresh and everything works fine.This. I edit a post of mine several times per week and I've already developed the habit of refreshing the page before clicking on "Edit".

Maybe you have a hidden scammer tag (is this what happens when people have a hidden scammer tag who tries to edit their posts?)
