Use Coinbase Account almosanywhere with Shift card
Might as well be afraid of buying Tide laundry detergent. It is often used in poor areas as barter for drugs.

This is one of many news articles that have been on the front pages of websites for the past week or so, but this was the first one I saw offhand which might scare people away from Bitcoin.... at least from just the headline.

The problem with it is that he wasn't arrested because Bitcoin was involved, he was arrested because he didn't sell the guns properly.  But it wouldn't have mattered if he received USD in cash.  He circumvented appropriate laws, Bitcoin is just here for the ride.

I can see people reading this and instantly thinking Bitcoin is only for 'underground' purposes, but people can do that with anything. Money, physical goods, drugs, whatever.

Thoughts, especially from those potential hesistant noobs?  I've been doing research for the past 1-2 weeks, so I'm glad to be in the game now, just upset I didn't start sooner!
