Unfortunately, I am not into GPU enough to know how much your cards are pulling.

Are you only using that 500w for the 2 cards? If so, how much is each card pulling?
Was using it, but it died. I assume the card's pull around 170-180watts. 200 max. That's what others seem to be using on the mining comparison list for a 5830: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Mining_hardware_comparison#AMD_.28ATI.29
Seems like it was just a bad power supply.
Then again, I'm not that familiar with them.

Forgot to add:
I plan on ordering within the next hour before I head off to work so it would ship out Monday morning. I guess if I get no replies in time, I'll order when I get home tonight.

So I had a cheap Senty 500watt powering my two overclocked 5830s. It died after an hour or so. So I am in the market for a new Power supply that will handle two 5830s. I figure each one take about 200 watts, plus another 80-100watts for the CPU, RAM, and Motherboard. Thought a single +12V rail 600watt should do the trick. I was looking at this one for $60 on Newegg: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182200

It has one 6pin, and one 6+2pin. That will be enough for one of my 5830s, so can I use my Molex/6pin converter cables that came with my other 5830 to power it? Or would I end up blowing something out again? Also is Rosewill any good? (they are owned by newegg)
