Its still much cheaper than any of those EVGA 1600W P2 Supernova PSU's
Specifically because I was thinking I was going to be on 110v power and was unsure if Bitmain PSUs can power their machines on 110v or if I'll break 'em. Would rather have overkill PSU that I know does the job than break 800$ worth of cheap psus and have to reorder, downtime, all of that. With that said, I found a way around my 110v situation. I'm gonna have 90A of 240v installed and use 30A server pdus like this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0007YG85A/ref=asc_df_B0007YG85A5209521/?tag=hyprod-20&creative=394997&creativeASIN=B0007YG85A&linkCode=df0&hvadid=216538221087&hvpos=1o1&hvnetw=g&hvrand=17322525536285718228&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9033455&hvtargid=pla-350062801410.
So I ordered regular old bitmain psus - the warranty factor definitely applied to this.
UPDATE: Now I have to figure out the best sort of power distribution units, as the space I am renting is on 3-phase not 240v split-phase. Will a bitmain PSU run on 208 volt or other odd voltages?
