I'm not a professor of hydraulics to know if this statement written above is true or false, but one thing I know is that no matter how much the water which flows on river Niger is been reduced, the construction of "Kandadji Dam" can never stop water from flowing entirely. Moreover, apart from the river Niger, Niger is also blessed with "Uranium" a natural resources that can be used to power it's own electricity if cut off by the Nigerian Power Electricity & Distribution Company. Or likely diverse to using Solar for generating electricity, since Niger is characterized by having a hot climate.

Niger republic go dey alright. Make we leave all these initial gra-gra wey Nigeria dey do. Na we even need them sef pass the way dem need us. Niger don get alliance with Russia and some other strong countries dey behind their backs too. That country dey too blessed. I hear say the Uranium wey dem dey send go France fit power their own country. This country still get better oil too. Anyways sha make we sidon dey look wetin go happen. As long as say their people dey happy, dem go surely through the help of their international allies fix their problems just the way wey Mali and Bourkina Fas dey do am already.
