It depends. One version we waited 2 months for it to show on the ppa. Another was on the ppa even before it was announced officially.

Hello!
I finally decided to download Bitcoin Core instead of just using online wallets, and have a question. My OS is Ubuntu trusty (14.04), and I am using the official PPA from here, and noticed one thing. The new official Bitcoin Core version is 0.10.0, but the PPA is only at 0.9.4. Is the PPA I am using out of date, or am I just forgetting something obvious?
