Did you start ppcoin with option -rescan after replacing the wallet.dat?
Bumb! Anyone please?
Here is what I did exactly:
1. Loaded PPCoinQT on my computer.
2. Loaded the blocks
3. Create wallets
4. Encrypted wallets
5. Moved the wallets over to a USB stick
6. Transferred PPC to the wallets (that were only on USB stick)
7. Used same computer as before and replaced the wallet.dat with a backup
8. Wallet shows empty and no transactions even though the blocks are already loaded
Any idea?

where did you copy the wallet.dat file to , in the file system?
did you close and open the qt software?

I have created PPCoin backup wallets and transferred PPC to them. Now when I restore any wallet and open the PPC client the account balance shows zero and no transactions, even though the block chain shows that the money should be there. Am I doing something wrong?
