The auctions for the lower serial number can often yield double or triple actual market price.   It's kind of hard to use a first auction as a starting point for pricing. 

I'm really excited for this. Not sure if I'll be participating in the auction but if you meet your target price +/- a little on either side I'll be very interested in getting one (despite my attempts to stop buying physical cryptos).

We are still trying to come in at or close to that number if the auction for the first coin yields well it will further help solidify that target price as were hopping someone will appreciate all the work end extra goodies were putting into the first '00' coin. I'm very much hoping that you list these in the $150 range as you had initially suggested as a target price, as I will be buying multiple if that is the case.  They will make an awesome addition to my collection.

Were going to do the auction first, once we sell the first coin and we have a solid gauge of interest the full production run will commence. I supplied Natty with some good high res pics of the final completed coin last night. He has asked me to provide a few more with some better lighting which I will try to get completed tonight while he puts together are the details for the auction. I hope you all love it as much as we do, this has been a great experience and I am so happy to be a part of this monumental moment in time in producing the worlds first dual funded 5oz Silver beast

Nattylitecoin, Mindtrip, I love the design.  It turned out very nice.   I am most definitely interested in picking one of these up.  

I like the idea of a permanently etched address and key, but how would you maintain security of the private key?  -Security and privacy from whoever is etching it, and whoever is shipping it - The tamper evident hologram lets me know it hasnt been peeked at.

Can I get more detail as to the actual weight of the coin?  I see it is 0.999 silver?

Etched Keys are preferred. But only if the coin producer is the coin engraver.

The keys were not given to the mint, they did not have the capability to arc the public address Along the peripheral of the back. Key handling and engraving will be solid and explained to the buyers. Paper keys could certainly be arranged. I was under the impression that etched keys would be preferred.

The platinum fell through for this year. The mint that said they could do it stopped returning my phone calls, but another coin maker here uses them. I'm going to try next year.

The Coin Council Would not approve this method of private key management..

If a mint engraves the private keys on the coins, it's one more third party who knows the private keys...
Addresses are fine but private keys should really be handled by the less amount of people as possible.
Maybe you want to consider paper private keys instead.

Coblee, the BTC//LTC Addresses and Keys will be engraved on the coins, the mint could not meet the requirements unfortunately.

Looks good! I'm down for one too. Is this a physical litecoin with a private key behind the hologram with litecoins on it? Or just a pretty coin?

We will accommodate our EU friends. I foresee only a small uptick in shipping costs of a single coin which will be agreed to at that time. However, Shipping and insurance for the two auction pieces will be pretty expensive for the EU.

Can you speak more about the funding stuff, I don't see any replies about that. I might be interested as well, but it would depend on more details, like the funding stuff and the actual target price, ie if it will be more than 150 etc.

The coins will have both BTC/LTC storage engraved. If the silver alone is $100, you add the engraving of 150 some odd characters in a precise manner, holograms, shipping, and the incredible amount of funding and time to translate the original 24" art into a vector format as input to a 9" clay mold ultimately to realize a 3D representation of the art on a 2.5" surface all whilst preserving every intended detail...you might be right, a $150 target price is ludicrous. 😜

I always prefer loaded coins, but how will the loaded ones differ? How much would be loaded if they have no face values? The coins look really nice so I will want one regardless of funding.

The general feedback we gathered was unfunded was the preferred way to go. I had made mention that a handful of S s may be funded, say SN 21, or even just a randomly selected. It will have both BTC/LTC addresses. And as MT said, we're trying to price these guys as low as possible.

As far as timing goes, the auctions will be within a week or two. Once sold, the coins in the run will be shipped within 5 weeks as we have to piggy back on a bulk silver purchase.

I'm pretty sure that if you go for $100 + 20% that these will sell very quickly, even though the design has nothing to do with Bitcoin (from what I can gather).

Based on my talks with Natty our target price was $150 so we should be right in that range. Were not looking to make money on this just to break even and be able to give something back to the community of great people here and avid collectors. I know it will fit in nicely with my extensive collection

I think Natty and I are going to open the first 2 for Auction with the first one #00 being something really special which we are still finalizing. Once we complete the auction of those 2 and gauge interest well finalize the number in this coins production run probably to be capped at 50 total coins being minted or less. As for a price point we have yet to finalize that but just the spot price of silver will be $100 as a base so we expect somewhere about 20% +/-  or so above Spot again this is not finalized and will also depend on what the first (2) go for in auction

Hi all Mindtrip and I are are pleased to announce that our first coin project is nearly complete. After 4.5 months, we've received the first two examples of what we hope to be a successful limited run of the Goddess and the first in a series of beautiful designs for the community. Pictured below are some snapshots of SN's 00 and 01; this is labeled on the edge with the weight and purity. We have a coulple of loose ends to tie up before they go to auction, namely etching the keys and integrating the art work accompanied with each coin. We anticipate this will take about a week or two.

Just to remark on the lack of BTC/LTC referencing in the primary design. The intent was to also appeal to collectors unfamiliar with crypto, in hopes of spreading some basic understanding of storing digital value on precious metal and having a solid piece of art. The overall goal is to have a four-fold diversification scheme over the product line. As you will soon see, the artistic portion will be amplified for the first two of each run.
