It will be worth if the service is good.
There will be more investors when they know its project is something.
Somehow this investors are connected or getting pulled by each other.
They will keep on coming as long as they know someone in there is a good investor too.

Hey guys  Are Pre-ICO 50% discounts worth investing into? and if so, in what conditions do you guys look into to make proper investments.

Of course that they are, there are a lot of ico's who are offering that kind of discounts just on their pre-ico stages.

Take a look over the last projects that have been succesfull ones and they have offered incredible returns, specially on their first stage of their pre-ico.

TenX has offered more than 35% just for the early investors (in their pre-ico 1)

Far as i know, Waves did something similiar to them, they offered 30% of discount if i am not wrong.

But 50% is not bad, it is a big discount but most of the ico's that are offering this kind of return are the ones who doesn't have a big marketing strategy, and they are trying to raise money at all costs.

What's the "pre" in presale about if anyone is permitted to buy in it? The more restrictive it is, the better (only huge ammounts, not marketed/secretive etc.) but today they are just marketing props

It's a marketing ploy, but it's not so different than early seed money in venture capital. Generally, the earliest angel investors in a startup get a much larger share of the company than later investors. And this makes perfect sense, doesn't it? They are taking the most risk. It's like Series A vs. Series B funding. Once you get to the later rounds of funding, it's clear that the business model is viable and investor demand is much higher. Price is therefore higher.

It's definitely riskier investing in an ICO that has raised $0 than an ICO that has raised $50 million. That's what justifies the pre-ICO vs. ICO price.

That is a just a marketing strategy, if you can buy when those stages are opened, then  the best thing that you can do is just buy, i know that maybe a lot of people are always scared of buying with a high discount.
But if you believe in the project, i think that buying on the pre-ico is a very nice desicion

sure, that token can become the very valueable coins if the ICO success, so they sale off 50% just want to attract more investors to their project, but not all ICO can success, they may fail and the tokens may be useless, sometimes the ICO take investors money and gone forever. our responsibility is to make research carefully before invest in that ICO.

Take a look over the ICO that is on my signature, they were offering a 40% discount for the first investors, and now they are offering a 25% of discount.
And yes, some of them ar worth it, you only need to pay attention about where are you putting your money.

It will be worth if that ICO can become valuable, before you buy the discount ICO you need to make sure you buy the legit coin and it can be valuable in the future, if you buy the right coin you can get a lot of profit, but buying ICO is almost like gambling, the outcome really random

How do you identify if it's legit or not ?

Yo man that's what makes us invest more money into ICO. This is the peak period of investment where tokens are most cheap and only profitable because you get big discounts. Some of them even throw away 70% discount on the angel day which is the most profitable of all. This is only for the first day and you just grab the opportunity. Leading to a ICO is very easy if you read the whitepaoer properly and see the potential to success. Any novice project with grand publicity will lead that project to success. So keep watching for these discounts and progress.

When you look at a WhitePaper, what is it that makes it appealing for you to invest into the project ?

Hey guys,

Are Pre-ICO 50% discounts worth investing into? and if so, in what conditions do you guys look into to make proper investments.
It is really worth it but some of them are not because some of them are scam and fake. Investing in ICO is effective way to make big profit but make sure that before we invest our money to the ICO make sure that we have knowledge about the project.

Make sure if that ICO is a good and great project. Don't invest in some trash ICO even though they are offering nice amount of bonus (50% discount when ICO as example). Always do your own research, read feedback from other people, know and undertand with the project and developer, finally make a decision to invest or not.
Spheris, which project i currently advertize, offer 500% bonus on 1-2 day their ICO, you can read more further on their ANN thread

50% is a good opportunity,
worth to be invested if you are confident with their project.

to determine the right investment I rate some things, such as:

- goals and innovations of the project
- token distribution
- team
- promotion
- partner
- app / platform that has been created or is being developed
- and most importantly the truth about information provided (you can analyze it)

IMO, every ICO that has a huge discount or bonus reward as a way of luring users is shady. The big problem with this, is that the early inverstors will dump their bonus tokens into the market as a way to guarantee a quick return to their investments, and the rest of the participants that came later, and bough the ICO without any bonus, will be affected by that.

More free coins and less demand = lower price.

Wow,... could you share what is the token?
50% is really a lots,
It should be very careful to be investigated prior your buying.
It may be also a good ICO

Probably not. If the deal looks too good to be true - it isn't real. Many ICO's are scams, so be careful out there.

Think back again, there are many ICOs which are being sold with ^discounts^. Really?
No, because they already calculate all the costs and clearings that they will be facing during their promotion and keep the prices accordingly, and the discounted rates are applicable of X number of tokens which, when sold completely, get their values raised. Don't you think that buying at lower prices is economically profitable if we not base it over the success of the ICO itself? It's also a gamble just the way we bet our money on something else.

Hey guys,

Are Pre-ICO 50% discounts worth investing into? and if so, in what conditions do you guys look into to make proper investments.
Yes of course but it depends upon the ICO, not all Ico that have 50% discounts or bonus is not good to invest. Make sure first to read , think and feel if the particular ico has a good potential if you are going to invest.

For the promising projects and ICO, it exactly worth it, but for some of the low type of projects it never worths. They can even give us 90% discount. This doesn't make any sense for participants. The project should be okay, then we consider the price and discounts.

Hey guys,

Pre-ICO is way of getting bigger margins into the initial price and fins, price which is decided when the coin is listed on the exchanger. This is technically buying at low price and selling at ten times higher prices minimum. So yeah it's really a good opportunity to get 50% discounts from pre-ICO. Most of the time I will take my friends advice in investing ICO as he has more deep knowledge about the teams involved and trusted team portfolio.

ICO is always going to be a high risk investment. and at the present time because of all the rules that Chinese government is setting for ICOs and banning them in their country it may not be the wisest of ideas to start investing in them. you should really think twice these days.
don't let the discounts no matter how big play with your emotions and force you to make a decision that you regret later.

No risk no reward. If you're fine with having no gains in investments.

Its not that hard to tell if an ICO will do well. All you have to do is make sure the ICO isnt a scam and you can profit easily.

Yes they truly are, some invest in famous ICO and only in famous ones because its an obvious choice to invest in an ICO that is somehow already known, I only invest in ICO that has a proof of legitimacy, many ICO's just intends to scam people but some has truly intention on keeping their coin alive and try to improve it more, that's what I am look for, a team that has a potential and will do anything for the sake of their projects.

I see that you're promoting Cindicator. Awesome project, Yuri is a great guy.

So let me ask you this; Does cindicator offer any discounts to its early investors. How many % out of the total amount that'll be released with me discounted. and what else as an investor you look for in a project to make it worth-while investing into.
I don't know and i can't see it in their thread, i don't answer a wrong and not sure answer so its better to ask in the ann thread. Honestly as a investor i think a long term investment and how it will have a big part in the community more than a token price so the future purpose is much needed.IMO

It depends upon the ICO and how reliable the project is. Sometimes, some re inflating the discount just as to collect more funds but they are not after the project but instead with the money. In investing, you have to research the project, people behind with their reputation and their affiliates.
