How can they continue to rise so quickly?? We will all be out of the game at this point - who is still recovering at this point?

That's funny the site now says the next estimate is 285,052,471 (+6%). I have seen it on Canada's Bitcoin Exchange as being 310 million ish (estimated). So we'll have to wait and see.
Something is wrong with the site right now, the estimate should be 400 million..

By my own calculations thats a 82% rise per month for last 2 months. With so many more preorders out there and new hardware annoucements and people not realising they are buying paper weights you are completely right. Dont buy
