It was just delayed though, even the Olympics has been rescheduled as well.

The last leg of the Triple Crown is Belmont originally schedule on June, and I'm sure it will be push through way back probably Nov-Dec. And if by that time the virus is not yet contained in the United States, then the usual protocols, - No Fans are allowed in the horse track and everyone are force to watch in television.

Well, thank you for sharing this. In my own opinion, sadly, --we cannot do anything about it since it is also for the safety and health of all the people involved in the sporting event not unless if prior to the given schedule the vaccine will be created miraculously. The only hope that we have is that Maryland may have full control over the pandemic and spread of the virus before October 3 and Preakness race will not be postponed and reschedule on a later date anymore. Surely if the Preakness race will be held on October 3 still safety measures will still be implemented, and possibly there might be no live audience to secure the health of everyone but for sure perhaps it will still be a sporting event that will be awaited by horse racing fanatics.

Kentucky Derby (1st leg) was also postponed and reschedule on September 5 - https://www.kentuckyderby.com/

So as expected every major sporting events are affected by the pandemic, so let's just hope by that time, everything has somewhat settled down or at least the curve has been flatten in the US.
