Just thinking through blockchain applied to the metals mining industry. Obvious solutions could include putting gold bars on a blockchain for tracking, which is already being done, but what about the corruption at the source? How does that get fixed?
Africa -> mineral rich, financially poor. Can blockchain help them and their mining communities? Thoughts on use cases? Can't crypto and blockchain be applied to the entire vertical? More specifically, what are your thoughts on the use cases for cryptocurrencies, apart from blockchain, in the mining industry? Reward systems for miners, tokenizing mining dividends, ... ?
