Less than $5 if it is still around.

What do you mean if it's still around? Bitcoin will always be "around". It's just then value that changes.

28k after a bubble pop at 120k in 2018

If people were asked to predict the price of bitcoin in 2015, way back in 2010, the answer "back to $200 after a bubble pop at $1200" would have been absurd.

Since this answer is equally absurd, it's probably right.

My opinion is it will be $1 or $1000
Why do people think so small? Your idea of success is a mere 1000?

If bitcoin is shown to be able to survive and go mainstream, at least 30k. Could possibly have reached 6 figures at one point.

he is being realistic. you are not. how can you think bitcoin will reach $100k one day? that really is beyond insane. stop dreaming.
No he isn't. If bitcoin doesn't go to the moon, all the speculators will leave, making it worth a lot less than it is now. Success necessarily means that it's extremely valuable.

Besides, when it was $1 each, people thought $1000 was impossible. Then again, you've heard all the arguments for or against many times. In the end, it's about people thinking small vs people thinking big.

You think, well, I'm never gonna be a millionaire. Of course you won't be one if you think like that. Do you think Bill Gates or Zuckerberg thought that way? Even if bitcoin ends up being worth very less, which is quite possible, those who think big will ultimately succeed while those who think small never will.

Keep on being happy with making a thousand dollars and then spending it all on junk.

2020, the value would be zero.

Thats only if the bitcoins were all mined, and we have a massive influx of backlogs which it cant handle. Unless someone does something, I`d be more suprised. And having a bitcoin in halved does not fix the longer term vision problem.

Then again, I cant predict any future like everything is speculation.

For bitcoin, 5 years is considered a very long period of time. Anything could happen like for example total economic collapse which makes bitcoin being taken seriously as an alternative currency. Or the popularity could even fizzle out making it worthless someday. Whatever it is I imagine it could end up either very high by 2020 or even worth nothing by then.

In my opinion by 2020 bitcoin will either have taken over the world and be worth trillions in volume or it will be worth nothing and forgotten about. I'm hoping the former rather than the latter.

At least 1000USD. Hard to say if prices like $5000 a coin are sustainable even in 5 years.

Between $2500 - $5000.
Sorry I can't be more specific but I don't want to be quoted in 5 years and made to look a dick head haha.
The above is my ball park estimate though, I think we could all be very happy if those fighres come to fruition in 2020, no?

How can anyone provide data on something so speculative? Nobody can predict the price tomorrow or a week from now let alone in 2020. I think we should just wait and see and take every day as it comes. For those with patience we will see soon...

stop trolling. $120K won't happen. never. it won't even go above $28k. there are way too many dreamers at this point. it's hillarious.

Five years is enough time to build bulletproof exchanges, multiple financial products, develop acceptable regulation and turn around the image problem that the public has.

If it's still a few hundred dollars with all that then it's well on its way to zero.

my guess is max $2000 but not much higher. but it's too early to talk about +$1000 while $500 looks like million miles away.

Ini my opinion, it will be around $500. I don't know why, I just have a feeling that it will be around it.
This just my opinion, so I can't prove that it will happen.

Hard to know, but for sure above the last ATH (1.2k) and consolidation of Bitcoin as something that can survive the worst crash and rise again, destined to shine.
