DOGE can be fairly predictable over the longer term. It will wander it's way down to around 30 sats or below. Then rocket ship up near 100. The shibes get stoked for the moon....

Rinse and repeat.

In any case, I like my DOGE as I'm a user not a speculator=)
That is because there are not many DOGE speculators left. Only users and believers are still with DOGE.
Coin with infinite supply is not good as investment and not good for holding either.
We are observing as DOGE is constantly slipping down from top 10 top coins market cap wise lower and lower.
Dump while you can. Don't be sentimental.
YES,you are right !
I have a thought for speculation,
should not invest in altcoins have huge supply as Doge
and doge , it is very dangerous !
it can down any time (1 Doge = 1SAT)
check dogecoin >>> https://vi.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dogecoin.
if you want, and find it profitable to buy short it  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

I think if you look at the April posts, then you realise only a couple of people were right. If you're looking to speculate the DOGE, then buying the mid 30s price like now to wait for the pump early next year sounds like a solid strat.

In any case, I like my DOGE as I'm a user not a speculator=)

Long live the DOGE!

Reactivating a thread without a post for several months is not recommend.

I looked into Dogecoin when I researched for good altcoins and I came to the conclusion that this coin has no future. I mean it does not offer good tech compared to many other coins out there. It is still in the top 30 because there is a good user and fan base. I doubt that it will be enough to gain significant more market cap.

Is dogecoin likely to rise at all by the end of the year ? thanks Smiley

In dogecoin chart you see that it's price was more that 100 satoshi in the first month of 2016 then it starts decreasing , now it is stable between 50 and 55 satoshi , but it is not necessarily to increase in the end of this year . I think there are many new coins takes the places of those old coins like DOGE and Litecoin .
the price of dogecoin started rising to 100 satoshi because of the Chinese pump teams who are responsible for every pump in recent history and they are the ones that control the market and you can expect them returning back to doge at a later time and start pumping and book their profit

I don't think doge will get overtaken by any of the new coins,  well they will overtake buti  don't think they will kill it.  If its lasted this long is obviously proven its worth and it still hasa  huge following . I might even buy back in just in case.
yes you are right may be it will take some more time to raise, but currency it does not look like that doge can show a remarkable increase in its price, as there is very little volume in it.

If you look at the complete chart of dogecoin, you can see it's become a pump and dump coin. It will drop back down to 30-40 sat for a few months then out of no where bamm, it will pump up again. Just spread some buy orders around in the 30's and 40's and hope they all fill. Once you invested what you are comfortable with and have your doge bags filled, set some sell orders about double what you bought them for and forget about it.

By December they should have all sold and you can rinse repeat the whole process. Usually doge gets two of these cycles per year, but it can and does vary to throw people off. The exact bottom and top also varies, but don't get too greedy and try to time the absolute bottom or later try to sell at very peak and you should do well.

2106 means after 90 years, I don't think that it will be exist at that time but the chances of its establishment is also there, by the it will not be at mid, dogecoin after 90 years will either disappear or will have a good value like bitcoin nowadays.

Im waiting for dogecoin to drop back down the 35-40 sats, then i might just buy some in the hope that it gets another pump. Like bitcoin it has lasted the years and has a pretty good following still. Not dead in the water by any means.

It is hard to predict, but it seems that Doge price can be higher in December 2016, because of constant demand in the market.  Wink

Will you be alive in 2106? Why care about the price so far in the distance? Countries collapse within the space of 100 years, so you shouldn't be banking on your descendants using any alt that far ahead.

In the short term, doge fluctuates between 50 and 60 satoshi. Sometimes it breaks out of that range for a day or two, and sometimes it drops below for a few weeks. But that's it's range.

You should read more than just the first post before you post.
It was just typo and he meant 2016 not 2106.

Ok, just an idea, but is it possible, that Dogecoin is actually kind of "too big to fail"? I mean, there are so many people invested in it, that there is no way, that all of them are switching to another coin. Sure, other coins may have better technology and stuff, but the one thing every coin needs and what actually helps a coin succeed, is user adoption. I think it is very reasonable to expect DOGE to be around and healthy at the end of the year.

I also have some dogecoins in my wallet, so i do hope they'll stick around for a longer time. I do think it's unrealistic to assume their price will rise a lot over the next couple of months/years...

I think Dogecoin is one of those coin you still have around five years from now. Pricewise, I have no idea, but I think a second pump like the one we've seen earlier this year is quite possible. And if it doesn't happen, I don't see Dogecoin losing that much value. Sure, buying at 50 sat and it going to 45 sat hurts, but there are worse odds out there. I believe if cryptocurrencies go mainstream, it doesn't really matter, which coins you have, as long as they are still alive, you're going to multiply either way.
